Supplying Demand DG94-01012A 4011538 Gas Range Oven Igniter Replacement Model Specific Not Universal

I saved $170 dollars over the appliance repair company price plus $200 install. Perfect fit, right connectors, works great. Longevity to be determined. 5 stars.

Process was easy for the installation, took about 20 minutes, will update this review in the future if it goes out.

Comparison of fit, finish, markings, and build quality show this replacement part to be 100% the same as the failed OEM part. Coorstek is the manufacturer and Supplying Demand of Murfreesboro TN is the distributor. The upper and lower ignitors on my Samsung range nx58m6630ss/aa had single and double plugs respectively so strongly recommend verifying your range's particular configuration before ordering since most of the part number search websites returned the incorrect part number the lower (bake) ignitor. Double plug part no. DG94-01012A (broil) / single plug part no. DG94-00520A (bake). Post will be updated with any in-service reliability issues.

My oven is only 3 years old, and I hardly ever use it- Holidays and to occasionally bake bread. Nonetheless, the lower (bake) igniter failed and I had to replace it. There are a lot of igniters for sale on the internet. Seems many of the major manufacturers use the same one. This one looked identical to the old one, and Supply and Demand is a pretty big presence on the internet, so I got mine from them.. Tip- look at the connection where it plugs into the oven wiring. Mine had the individual connections. Some have a "two into one" solid connector that will only go in one way. Some have stripped ends that you connect with a ceramic wire nut. Remove the oven door (Thanks Youtube!) The sheet metal oven parts came off using a Phillips screwdriver. The steel gas tube lifts out with the igniter attached. Again, a couple of screws. Be very, very careful handling the igniter, as the heating element is very fragile. Mount it on the gas tube, plug it in, re-assemble the oven and re-install the oven door. Took about 15 minutes. Worked perfectly. A OEM igniter from Samsung is $158.00. Same part, different packaging.

The igniter came very well packaged and was easy to install. Quick connects are as easy as it gets. Hopefully it will last. So far so good.

My stove is 10 years old and I didn’t realize how bad the oven was getting until it stopped working all together. I bought this igniter and my oven works like new! What use to take 15mins to preheat until it got worse and would take an hour plus now takes 3mins to get to 375. I would recommend you pulled out old one first so you know what to order. I had to return the first one I ordered. I guess igniter is the same but have different clips.

Supplying Demand had the correct part, shipped it in two days over the Holidays. I received a Brand New Igniter with the correct connectors, packed nicely in foam and boxed for protection. Thank You SD!The following is not related to Supplying Demand!UNPLUG POWER AND TURN OFF GAS!!!The install is complicated by the Manufactorer Samsung, and their design and Hardware choice when building these appliances. I needed to drill out two screws that were seized/frozen to get to and remove the gas supply tube. Change out igniter(make sure to use spacer) and re-installed tube replacing screws I drilled out. Plugged in connectors, replaced warming drawer. Turned gas on, plugged the range in and repositioned in base cabinets. Pressed bake and start for 350. The igniter came on glowing bright and the oven now works again.As for the longevity, time will tell!Thanks Supplying Demand for having the part I needed to get my Samsung Nx58H9500AA/WS oven working again!

Bought to replace a failed bake igniter on my Samsung NX58H9500WS gas range. Fit and works perfectly. Easy replacement. Great product - easy to install and my oven is working again! The item was well packaged and arrived in perfect condition. Definitely beats paying full price for the OEM part from Samsung. Would recommend an buy again if the need arose in the future.
