Yin-care Herbal Wash Fragrance Free 3.4oz/100ml

This is an amazing traditional Chinese medicine product. I make topical herbal medications at home and herbal washes, but now I buy Yin Care, because there is no way that you can make such a concentrated herbal extract using kitchen methods. This product is used at various dilutions from 5-100%. A Google search will lead you to a pdf that gives more specific instructions on what dilution is appropriate for the condition that you are using it for.Yin Care is most commonly used for gynecological problems (yeast infections and other vaginal infections), but it really has a broad range of applications. Anything related to "damp-heat," "toxic-heat," or "wind" in the classification of Chinese medicine can be treated with Yin Care. It is great for toxic bug bites and secondary infections related to bug bites. I had a spider bite that became infected and stayed infected for months. I tried a variety of Western medicines from Benadryl antihistamine gel to Neosporin to hydrocortisone as well as Chinese herbal washes and salves that I concocted myself. My herbal medicines lacked the potency of Yin Care. It would reduce the swelling somewhat, but then the wound would get reinfected and had no clear sign of resolution. After a week of applying Yin Care 100% as a compress for an hour daily, the infection seems to be finally resolving.The other thing that people haven't really been talking about is how Yin Care is a GREAT product for men too. It is an excellent "branch" treatment for scrotal eczema. The folks at Yao Company recommend making a lotion using 30% Yin Care, 20% pure aloe vera gel, and 50% Vanicream. A 20-30% solution of Yin Care in distilled water can also be used a spray for scrotal eczema. Get yourself a scale and just weigh out these proportions. Always test a small area first to make sure there are no burning or adverse reactions. That said, a "branch" treatment (which is what Yao Company advertises) is exactly what it is--meaning no miracles. In Chinese medicine, a disease can be treated at its "root" (primary cause) and its "branch" (exterior manifestations and symptoms). In the case of scrotal eczema, which may not be related to bacterial infections but more deeply rooted internal imbalances, the root can only be treated by internal herbal medicines/acupuncture. Yin Care can assist with managing symptoms (and GREATLY relieving itching, burning, etc.), but it cannot bring about a cure. Despite the origins of this formula from a Daoist sage on Mount Qingcheng in Chengdu, it is not a miracle medicine, although its itch-relieving properties are miraculous. Look up Daniel Hudson's video on Yin Care on Youtube ("Clinical Applications of Yin Care..."). Have realistic expectations, seek out a licensed TCM practitioner, and you will not be disappointed with this product. So there you go guys, try it for scrotal eczema, jock itch, etc.I only wish Amazon sold the large version of Fragrance-Free. The fragranced version has a very strong soapy smell in an attempt to mask the smell of the herbs. It works just the same, but I feel fragrance is unnecessary. The herbal smell is not unpleasant (at least to me.)

This was recommended to me by a homeopathic doctor for treatment of seborrheic dermatitis. Using this, plus the Chinese herbs she recommended, cleared my skin up immediately. This is after I spent hundreds of dollars on creams from the dermatologist that didn't work. I don't know what is in this, but it's a miracle-liquid! I don't dilute it---I just pour some on a cotton pad and use as a toner. Even though my skin cleared up, I use it every day for maintenance, and will continue to use it for as long as I can!

Works great on infections. Will always have this on hand. The accordion like applicator is a little funky the first few times. Hard to push. But honestly, I’m so grateful I found this.

I've been using Yin Care for years to help manage discomfort from interstitial cystitis, a chronic painful bladder condition that causes a burning sensation in my bladder and urethra.My condition is worse at night. Most nights I wake up at least several times with a strong burning feeling that I need to pee whether or not my bladder is actually full. The problem is that even after I pee the burning feeling remains, which is painful and stressful and makes it difficult to get back to sleep. When I'm experiencing a flare up of my symptoms this can happen as many as 10 times a night, leading to insomnia and ultimately depression.About 6 years ago an acupuncturist turned me on to Yin Care, which acts as a gentle topical analgesic. When I wake up, I go pee, and then spray a diluted solution of 80 distilled water/20 Yin Care on the opening of my urethra. This cools the burning feeling for about 10 minutes, which is usually long enough for me to fall back to sleep because the discomfort is masked. There's still a sensation down there, but it's no that urgent need to pee feeling, so my mind stops having to focus on it.I've tried prescription numbing agents (lidocane, etc.), but this is the only thing I've found that works. It's an essential part of my self-management care regimen for this incurable disease. I honestly couldn't live without it.

This herbal wash is extremely helpful for feminine issues, such as candida or bacterial infections. I also have a friend whose son had a fungal infection on the insides of his legs and arms (moist areas) and this herbal wash was the only thing that helped her clear it up for him. Great product. Bottle is small, a little goes a long way.

I have very sensitive skin and this really caused already painful, irritated skin to have painful bumps on it. I thought fragrance free would be okay but be careful if you have sensitive skin.

Didn't really feel a difference after using this product. I tried combining it with H202 to no avail. I guess it's useful for Chinese women with humble lady parts, but as for me I need the harshest thing there is...

I originally purchased this product many years ago from my Naturopath. It is gentle yet effective for all of my female hygiene needs including for a yeast infection. Just mix with water in a small bathroom type cup, soak some cotton balls in it and insert or use where needed, inside or out
