I cannot live without these. I wear glasses for reading and computer use all day and have a box of these sitting next to my desk. They are the best in terms of not leaving any lint and the level of moisture is perfect so that it does not leave streaks on glasses. I found other products similar to these to be too wet to the point that they left water streaks and this one does not do that. It may be a tad bit more expensive than some of it's competitors, but I definitely think it is worth the additional cost. And a box will last you a long, long time.

I like these wipes so much I’ve been ordering them every few months for a couple years now. I have gotten a couple boxes where up to 20% of the wipes were dried out and had to be throw away, but most of the time they are perfectly moist, never dripping wet. I use them to clean my glasses a few times per day and I’m a happy customer. They dry out after a few minutes and become quite stiff, at which point they are unusable. Seems like they would scratch up the lens if used dry.

Your trust had been broken. The former wipes, bought at less expense because it seemed a good idea at the time, were sometimes dry upon opening. Like 50% of them were literally just a piece of paper, functionally. Expectations were not met. One might say you felt disappointed, even frustrated. You felt taken advantage of. Not so with Bausch & Lomb Sight Savers Lens Cleaning Wipes! Maybe you're thinking that's a big name for such a small product. But consider the impact. Formerly your vision was always a bit blurred or perhaps there was a spot in the lower right corner of your left lens that was particularly stubborn, perhaps a speck of yogurt flew up while you were standing at the sink eating because that’s what you do now instead of sitting down at the family dinner table. Anyhow, its like you were used to moving through a constant irritating fog. Now when you put your glasses on after cleaning all that crud off, everything is clear, and the world appears to you more easily manageable. Do you kind of feel like Johnny Nash singing “I can see clearly now, the rain has gone, I can see all the obstacles in my way. Gone are the dark clouds that had me blind, it’s gonna be a bright, bright sunshiny day?” Yes, yes you do kind of feel like that.

These are the best eyeglass cleaner wipes, I’ve ever used.the only reason I did give 5 stars was because some of the packets were dry.

They work great!

I expected much better from B&L. About half of the ones I've tried have been dried out. I can actually feel the difference between the moist ones and the dried out ones before I even open them. The outside of the small packets that are still moist are a bit cooler than room temperature. And when used, the moist ones can be anywhere from a little damp to fairly moist, but they're never wet. The dried out packages are room temperature. When using them, it takes a long time rubbing to get rid of all the smudges, and I think the lenses then somehow seem to attract dirt after being cleaned. I looked for an expiration date both on the exterior of the box and on the little packets themselves - nada. There was a coded number (B00433343) on the bottom of the outside of the box but I don't know what that means. The outside of the box was fairly scratched up. I believe I've solved the mystery of why some are dry & some are not. On the edges of the small individual packages, there are engineered small slits in the edges right above the words "TEAR HERE". I believe that the slits may be off register somehow and barely pierce through to the inner pocket for housing the wet papers, which allows them to dry out.

Great lens wipes I will purchase again.

I bought these a bit less than 12 months ago. Around 9months after I bought them, I found that some are very dried out when I open them. Note: I somewhat think that this might be common to the product category (inexpensive lens wipes), as some of the ones at work (different brand - I forget which) are similarly dried out when I open them.

This might be a good product *but* it is not until your receive the item that you can read on the reverse side of the box that it is “not suitable for coated lenses”. My optometrist wasn’t sure whether it would impact on my particular coated glasses so I contacted B&L, who said check with your optometrist as they know what sort of coating you have. Fair enough, but it does beg the question what sort of coatings B&L had in mind when making the statement - you’d think they’d be able to tell you that, at least. Disappointed and uncertain, I had to return them. A first world problem but an unnecessary, time-consuming annoyance.

These were quite dry

these ones are the best, most of these tend to dry out real quick, and are too small, these are moistened very well, and the bonus is they are large cloths so it's very easy to clean my glasses without the cloth drying out in 10 seconds. These leave your lenses crystal clear, no streaks or residue
