I am a construction estimator and this set is great for getting blueprints measured. The Scale rulers are just a tad smaller than conventional scale rulers but that seem nice if you have use them all day. The numbers are indeed laser etched and should be durable for many years. I found the Stainless Steel ruler to be also very useful. The other estimators in my office drooled over these black scales! They are worth every penny.

I purchased these for work as I typically am scrolling down charts and graphs and need a nice heavy ruler to hold my place at what I am looking at. Love the quality of these, I actually purchased two sets, one for work and one for home. Love the black as it contrasts whatever I am trying to read with this on top of it. The triangle shape keeps these nice and steady on the paper, and they have a solid substantial feel to them. I did not purchase for their intended use- I could care less about the measurement aspect of them, just needed a weighted straight edge, and these do the trick. Would purchase again.

I’m an interior designer and I’m reading scaled drawings all day long. I was in need of a new scale and these are amazing! I love that they are metal... reduces the risk of it becoming chipped or broken. And I love the black color. It’s a sleek look and it makes it easy to read the white lines. Bonus: they come with a nice pouch for extra protection. Highly recommend.
