The AiR 4.2 OSFM helmet features a high-impact AiR XE Shell that is durable. The mechanically attached D3O is lightweight and flexible. It absorbs and disperses energy upon impact. The liner is treated with an antimicrobial system to resist the development of bacterial odors. Comes with pre-drilled holes to attach the Schutt AiR Lite HR batter's guard.

Solid helmet, on par with Rawlings and Easton
This is a great helmet and a great price too. Comparable helmet from Rawlings was $40-70CAD in some sports stores. I ordered the Air 4.2 Sr. in matte black. From the tag that came with the helmet, there are two sizes (Senior and Junior). The senior fits my head perfectly. I wear a cap size of 7-1/4" and it's a snug fit, there's no need for a chin strap and I'm confident this isn't going to fly off when I swing or run.The matte black is quite nice as it's a different look than the typical glossy finish on most helmets and it keeps with the trend towards matte finishes in the majors. Just know that it will show scuffs and marks easier than the glossy finish, which I'm fine with since I'm just throwing this into my equipment bag anyway.

Great Helmet, No Chin Strap
Great helmet, fits my son's head comfortably. However I was SHOCKED that this helmet does NOT include a chin strap! Very inconvenient to have to go find one.
