OCPTY 2H1055 Fuel Injection New Idle Air Control Valve FIT for 1989-1993 Chevrolet Camaro/Corvette, 1993 Chevrolet S10, 1991 GMC Syclone, 1992 1993 GMC Typhoon, 1989-1993 Pontiac Firebird

Installed this in my 1992 Corvette which was listed as one of the cars it fit. Although the pintle/tip is a little different than the original, based on the carbon marks of the old unit I determined the diameter of the pintle should work, and it did. The length was a little shorter than the original I removed (see photo), but that is good. The car moves it during the calibration after install and its better to be shorter than longer to avoid damage. It worked perfect for me !The only problem I had was being able to get the old one out. I finally managed to do that without removing the throttle body (and associated half-dozen hoses and coolant/etc). The right 32mm socket and hose clamp pliers, plus some planning and careful execution made it an easy job once I figured it out :-)

No issues. Works as described.

Came quick and fast. It fit perfect on my 1989 Pontiac Trans Am GTA.
