ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME!? $$->$$$
**UPDATE/ADDED STARS: Price is back down to the $76. Thank you. Also, unintentionally omitted in my original post... Orders always arrive prior to expected delivery date and product is packaged (frozen) extremely well.**Let me start by saying my son has a dietary repertoire of about 12 items. It's very rare that 1.) he'll actually try something new and 2.) like it. So it came as a great surprise when he started talking about the oatmeal chocolate chip bar at school and how much he looked forward to getting it during school breakfast. Not knowing what exactly I was looking for, I tried all year (2019-20 school "year") to find something comparable at grocery stores and online with no luck. Fast forward to "Grab & Go Meals" provided by the school during quarantine & distance learning and I finally had one in my hand. I have to admit, it's a meal in itself. By far, bigger than any bar at the store and nutritionally acceptable.Between you and me though, I don't understand the hype. There's nothing special about the taste. At all. Honestly, I think it's just "meh" but my kid? He BEGS me for these and seeing him eat regularly for the first time ever, what can I do?H O W E V E R....I've ordered 4 times from this company in the past few months and am DISGUSTED with the price gouging. I was shocked when my first order was $64 for 48 bars and, to be honest, had to give it some serious thought. THEN! the 2nd and 3rd orders were $76 (each) but by that time I was stuck between a rock and a hard place, how do I not get them when he's finally gaining weight and actually wanting to eat?! I've made it a habit to check every so often to see if the price has come back down so imagine my surprise when today the price is $98 for the same 48 bars.ARE. YOU. KIDDING. ME?!Apparently, there IS something I won't do to get my kid to eat. I'm so frustrated and angry, I guess it's back to square one and the search for something comparable.

Wish oatmeal always tasted like this
What can I say? I bought them for my kid but I’m the one consuming them all cuz they are soO darn delicious. Probably the best oatmeal flavored bar I’ve ever had! Seriously if oatmeal always tasted like this, I’d eat it everyday 3x a day! I ordered the oatmeal chocolate chip and LOVE it. It’s not too sweet, and not bland. Just perfect. Also I was so impressed by the packaging. It was outstanding delivery and very clean. Nothing came melted or damaged. Thank you Benefit Bars! Never would have discovered you if you were not part of my kids’ grab n go lunch this year. :)

These are not terribly expensive when you compare their weight to the weight of other bars.
My son only eats about 5 things. His school has been serving these as part of their free pandemic breakfasts. My son loves them, but they are not available every day so I bought a case. The price seems terrible, but they are about $1.50 each and they weigh two to three times more than most breakfast bars so I think they are okay. I keep a few in my car and have enjoyed them also.

Yummy and filling
Great grab and go breakfast. These are served at our school and my students all love them, but they aren’t served often enough for their liking. We ordered a box and they came in a cooler with dry ice. Knowing that they last so long in the freezer makes it worth buying so many at a time, but you’ll eat them before they expire….we’ve already ordered two boxes.
