TAKES SOME GETTING USED TO, But Worth the Effort
It took some getting used to and some modification but now I love it. I mix it in a quart jar with organic almond milk. I found Simple Nature to be the best taste-wise and cost-wise. Especially if you can find it at Aldi's. First I heat it up in the jar in the using a pan with a little hot water. Not too warm or it will kill the probiotics. I get a scoop and actually put a little less than they say. Then I put about 1/3 in and swirl it around a little (Keeps it from caking on the top) Then I shake it well. Then I follow that procedure two more time and last of all I add 1 Tablespoon of Coconut oil and shake. It is then smooth and good tasting. However it did take about a 2 lb. bottle for me to get used to it. It wasn't bad but not as smooth. I had to quit using whey because it didn't agree with me (the dairy). Now I look forward to it as much as I did my whey. I've only tried the vanilla. I think if you will make yourself use it, by the end of the bottle (if not before) you will really like it.

Affordable vegan protein but the plant taste is overwhelming
im sure it does what its supposed to do with building muscle (though its too early to tell) but the taste is overwhelming. it has that cheap vanilla protein taste. I think a chocolate flavor of this protein would be great to mask the strong plant taste. other than that it is a great product at a great value. thank you for making a vegan protein so affordable.

Great vegan protein powder with an even better price
This is my new favorite vegan protein powder. I was using sunwarrior for a while but this is nearly half the price, has a great amino acid balance and like the sunwarrior is gluten and soy-free. Sunwarrior's one selling point is that all their products are supposedly raw, but I feel like all protein powders are so incredibly processed and isolated anyway, it doesn't really matter to me. Texture in this product is very smooth (much better than sunwarrior or vega) and the vanilla taste, while not exactly top notch, is unoffensive and blends well with my green/fruity smoothies. The sweeteners used in this product are xylitol and stevia. If you have any ibs or loose stool issues, you might not like things with sugar alcohols in them but I personally have no issues with xylitol so I'm very happy with it. I have tried a lot of vegan protein powders recently and this is by far my favorite. My only complaint if it really could be called a complaint is that they don't sell larger containers of this. I prefer to buy protein powder in 4-5 pound containers but no issues other than that.

Yuck
This is awful. I don’t taste vanilla. I taste chalk. I mixed it with unsweetened almond milk. I think this will need some fruit or something because it’s awful.

It's not Ice Cream, but it's not Horse Feed either!
Pretty good product overall. This review is for the powder mixed with water only. I have had Now Pea Protein Isolate, vanilla toffee flavor and Vegasport Protein to compare this product to.Mixes up without heavy clumping. Has only a slight, fine grit, which is less than the grit of Now Pea Protein Isolate. There is a slight chalkiness to the texture, which exists in the finish around the outsides of the tongue near the back of the mouth. There is a slight taste of organic matter, which the pea protein isolate does not have. The vanilla flavor is mild, as opposed to some other reviews I've read for this product. The flavoring in the Now pea protein, vanilla toffee flavor was far more evident. This products ingredients are more integrated than those of the Pea Protein Isolate. I could experience the texture and the flavor seemingly separately from each other in the Pea Protein. This product is a little better integrated, though there is the organic flavor to slightly contend with here, taking away from the cohesion. Vegasport Protein seemed to have the most cohesion of flavor and texture, but you'll pay almost twice the cost. The experience isn't like drinking a milkshake, like some whey powders seem to be. But it also doesn't taste like autumn leaves and park-grass. I prefer the textural experience of Plant Protein Complex to Pea Protein Isolate, but the flavor of vanilla toffee Pea Protein to the creamy vanilla Plant Protein Complex.

The healthiest most easily digested protein.
This protein is great value for the money. It tastes good. Goes down pretty easy. Mixes in a standard shaker bottle really easily. It is vegitabe based so you don't have to worry as much about food born allergens and is very light on your stomach. I have used it in the past it works as good as the leading protein BSN syntha 6, but is much healthier. I have heard from others that it tastes "grainy". I don't see it as long as you recommended amount of water. Dealing with this seller was fantastic. Shipped the item fast. Had prompt communication when I emailed. Made it STUPID easy to order. BOTTOM LINE.......yes I will be ordering again and would recommend this protein who wants a clean, healthy and frankly the best protein.

Very easy on the stomach and makes great smoothies.
I am a big fan of NOW products. They always rate high on Labdoor, plus they have been around for awhile; which is something to consider with every supplement purchase. You can even look at their manufacturing process on their website. If you are use to plant based proteins this one is not any different texture/flavor wise. However, the protein used in here is different (better) than most and again the product comes from a top shelf company. Very easy on the stomach and makes great smoothies.

Cost Benefit Analysis
I love the mix of different proteins, and if it has to be sweetened, xylitol and stevia are both great choices. I could do without the xanthan gum, but I imagine if it didn't have it these reviews would be full of complaints about the shakes separating, and it's a lot better than carrageenan and all the other garbage thickeners lacing our food now. This is a great value for what it is.
