We stash our plastic grocery bags in the back bin and use them to line the front bin. I wish I had purchased this years ago. Keeps the dogs out of the trash. We don’t use the lids, and I do wish they sat a little more securely. We jammed some wood blocks in between to keep them from bumping out of place

We have been looking for a solution to add a compost bin under our since with a limited space. This was perfect. Easy to install and very straight forward. the soft close is great addition too. love it.

The media could not be loaded.  I love this brand, I spec’d their cabinet accessories all the time in my previous life as a kitchen and bath designer. I hadn’t ever installed this unit myself before though. The deck of this unit is covered, which makes for a more difficult install without a long drillbit. I did not have that, so I had to install this somewhat awkwardly with the sliding cover pulled forward and reaching over it so three screws of the four are in there good enough to stabilize the base and one is a little cockeyed but holding! I also had the template too close to the front of the cabinet and had to turn the metal handle backwards so that it didn’t impede the door closing flush.The pros of this unit are that it fits into a very small cabinet. I installed this in a 12 inch wide standard framed cabinet with a 9 inch clear opening. See video for more details.The cons are the mildly challenging install, the small trashcan sizes and the lid handles aren’t very functional. There is also not anything between the two trash cans so they can shift when you pull the unit out and bump into each other. It would be nice if there was some kind of bracing in between the two.

Good product. Easy installation. I've been using it as a compost bin and laundry basket in the kitchen for a few months now. Works great

I did a lot of research online and I think this is the best size that fits my small under the sink area.However, for its price the product falls real short in many areas:- Handle quality: the tiny plastic nubs that connect the handles to the bins are easy to break. All 3 of the nubs connects the handle broke the first time I took the trash out.- The lids were designed so poorly that it doesn't sit on the can properly, fall into the can constantly and was a hassle to open/close when I need to put trash in.- The bottom of the bins and the mounted trays were not well designed again, because the bottom of smaller bin constantly slides when you pull the tray out because there's no friction/anything to hold the bottom of this bin in place (since the bottom of the bins are smaller than top, hence does not sit 100% into the tray).So, I've been dealing with those inconveniences because I couldn't find the size I need for my small kitchen. But if you have a bigger under-sink area. I don't recommend this.

The media could not be loaded.  Before this, we would stack our recyclables in a big cardboard box on our counter. What an ugly sight. Plus our waste management co started doing compostables in our area. So I researched and picked this system: bigger bin for recyclable, smaller bin for compostables. It works perfectly. I also purchased 9L compostable bags to line the smaller bin so I can just pull out. I also use paper bags from the grocery stores to line the higher bin. But the bins themselves remove easily to empty and clean. Installation was a breeze. The instructions serve as a actual size template that you just lay there to put the markings to where you need to predrill holes for the screws. I opted for mounting underneath the sink rather than the door mount, then used that template to fit between the sink pipes/garbage disposal and the door frame. I especially like the slow self-closing mechanism it has. A great purchase!

This is very sturdy and well made. I had a kitchen cabinet with only an 8.5 inch opening. This is a very tight fit but now I can store pet food.I wish the lids snapped on and air tight to keep the food from getting Stale.

I know it’s my fault because I didn’t read the size and I regret it. This is toooooooo expensive for the size. This is not even for a single person living alone. Don’t buy this if you’re looking to use it for trash.

Sturdy...well built...Love Love them...will order more when need be

This replaces one we had with no lid. Like the lid, smaller container but we don’t want a lot of compost under the sink to start with. It is convenient having compost and garbage together.

These bins were easy to install. I love that they had a lid which most bins did not. This was the main reason I chose this model. My only comment would be it would have been nice if recycle bin was the same size as waste.Found it a little small.

The containers loose in the frame when you pull/push them. You cannot take the rear container without the need to remove the front one. Do not recommend this item

This lives under our kitchen sink, and is perfect for our compost and recycling. We especially like the ease of being able to pull it out, and the attached handles for carrying as well.
