Great little camera
I bought this little security camera to check up on one of my pets during the day. I needed to be sure that she was eating. It was an easy setup right out of the box. It sits in my kitchen on the counter. Good night vision, sensitive motion detection, and great picture on my cell phone. I get alerts when there is movement in the kitchen and when I'm not home, I can easily check up on them. And I like the 2 way microphone. I'm very glad I bought this.

A good security camera
As our baby turned more active, I thought a camera to monitor her activities would be useful. Referred by one of my friends, I decided to give this one a try. It turned out to be a good buy. The camera has a sleek look. The installation was straightforward and easy, I registered an account and put in my wifi password and it started working. Looks like the account was used to see your camera online, so that is convenient if you don't have you phone next to you. They also use that account to sell you cloud service, but local storage is good enough for me. The camera can turn 360°, up and down, and works at night as well. The picture quality is pretty good, images are sharp and colors are accurate, I am all satisfied with that. The companion app was good too, i am using an iPhone XR and had no trouble with it so far. I did see people complained something in the app store, and their developer responded and delivered fix promptly, so that is good.I don't have an Alexa account, so can't say anything for that.

Camera & APP working well. Upgraded review - Support fixed issues.
UPDATE Sep 23rd, 2019: Upgraded Rating.I have upgraded my review after replacing the camera and receiving help from technical support re: the bug in the UI (now fixed). Blurams responded very quickly to my concerns, and for that I'm grateful. (Still wish there was a live person to talk with and not just email). The replacement camera is functioning as it should. We are now receiving notifications on the phone. (Note: The APP needs to be OFF on your phone to receive any push notifications).I am also upgrading my "trust level" in this device to 80% (from 50%) while I'm away and after extensive remote testing. I have purchased a second one of these to put in another location in our home.If both cameras function well, I'll give it 5 stars, but not until they fully prove themselves.-------------------------------------Previous reviews below:-------------------------------------Would I trust this camera for keeping an eye on my home while I'm away ? .... Only 50/50 at this stage. It has promise, but the APP programming is very hit-and-miss. I would always be worried that it won't notify me quickly (or at all (see 9/19/2019 below)) IF it does detect someone. And that's precisely what I purchased it for .... piece of mind. The push notifications are a real problem.9/19/2019: Sent camera back, and bought another. Now I get videos of motion but NO Notifications ..... incredibly annoying.9/17/2019: According to the blurams company, AJ Steffens (who sold me this camera through Amazon) is not an authorized seller of blurams products. This was bought to my attention in an email where I was notifying them of the problems that this camera has.The company also told me that there is a BUG in the Time OFF setting part of the App. They are apparently fixing this.Reduced to 1 star on 9/15/2019 (after 3 days of use)When an Time ON plan is active, and I pan around the room, the camera will often disconnect and will not reconnect for sometime. And most times, the app needs to be closed and re-opened to get it connected again. This is quite a buggy APP and needs some work. When an event is recorded during an active Time ON plan, I don't get any push notifications. The event will be recorded, but NO notifications. Blurams told me via email, that you do not get any notifications while you have the APP open. So if you want to know if someone is creeping around you home, you had better have the APP closed! The camera turns off about 5 minutes after the set Time OFF. (Not a deal breaker, but it cannot even keep to a specific time on the clock).Tech support is by EMAIL ONLY. They often take 12 hours+ to answer any questions. This is just not good enough. You need a tech support PHONE NUMBER guys !I need a second camera, and doubt it will be a blurams. Just too many issues with the APP. And if I'm away I'd always be worried something would not work, so I need a backup camera of a different make to increase the chances of one of them working if an event were to occur. This shouldn't be necessary. After testing quite a bit for two days:PROS:The picture quality and night vision are good. (But cannot make out faces easily)Motion sensing works well most of the time (but sometimes it doesn't pick a person walking around). Further testing required here - if it keeps doing this, I'll be returning it. It has to work ALL the time. See CONS section. The alarm is nice and loud.Privacy mode is excellent and very hard to find on a lot of other cameras. (My main reason for buying this the camera). The size of the camera is nice and compact.CONS:Motion detection can behave weirdly. Sometime it'll pick up a person and sometimes it will not. About 10% of the time it won't.Picture quality degrades rapidly when zooming. It gets pretty blurry.Sound sensing doesn't work well at all. I was talking loudly and it didn't pick up the noise. The speaker has a huge echo when talking through it from my phone.I cannot leave the app/interface in LIVE mode for continuous viewing on my phone/PC/tablet - it gives me a "play button" to press every 5 minutes or so. Annoying.Notifications: Sometimes I receive them and sometimes I don't. And other times they arrive after quite a delay (which I imagine is a problem with the company's app). I have the notifications set to "ON" and to receive ALL push notifications, so it doesn't seem like a setting issue. Sometimes the camera will pick up motion and you don't know it has due to no notification ... but if you check the "Events" area, there is a video of the motion. This is particularly frustrating.

Schedule a P.I.T.A. "Facial Recognition" not free. NO "dark" theme when scanning QR code for setup!
I wanted two of these for indoor home security cameras. They are nice as far as the price point, getting a decent look inside my house with the PTZ function, and being able to connect to it whenever a notice goes off.However..... the notices are CONSTANT while the unit is "on". It seems to pick up flashes of light as "motion events". I'm an IT professional, and I couldn't figure out what was setting them off. I was constantly getting buzzed with notifications by this thing (I only installed one, the other is still in its original sealed packaging). Yet, when I review the footage.. there was no discernible movement that should have triggered an alert. The reason I ended up only opening one is that I discovered upon browsing the application interface that it has a backwards way of programming the on/off timing. It wants you to put what time you want it to turn OFF first, then what time you want it to turn ON as a second listing for each time period you schedule. There are issues with this approach I won't go into here. Even carefully calculating my schedule and trying alternative programming with off/on scheduled to 11:59 pm end-of-day, then another schedule starting 12 midnight the next day (which leaves an undesirable gap of 1 minute), instead of continuing the schedule through midnight and into the next calendar day, I couldn't get it programmed to where it would turn on and off when I wanted it to. I sent a request to the manufacturer for assistance in November of 2020, and never received a reply.Another issue is that the advertised "facial recognition" is only available with the cloud subscription. Nope. Nope. Nope. Nope. I have the max size SD card allowed loaded on it, and it can't do the deed with only local onboard programming? Not going to happen. It DOES allow for motion tracking without the subscription, though.Since I am unable to make it NOT come on when I don't want it to... (I'd really rather not record/see my roommate's weekend early morning trip to the fridge when he's sans clothing, since I am GUARANTEED to be asleep) it's been turned off and I only turn it on (manually) when I get a notice from my Abode alarm system (which it won't integrate with... /sigh. Admittedly, there was nothing said it would be compatible with my home alarm, so not the camera manufacturer's fault there.) I haven't gotten any alarms recently.. so it's been off for a few months now.I would not buy these again.Update: 12/9/21I had installed the second camera I purchased of this set in the garage, and left it in an "always-on" mode. This was to help monitor my garage doors and if an Amazon Key delivery came through. It worked... for around 3 months. I was actually better inclined toward the units during this period. Then it lost the WiFi connection. Even setting it close to the WiFi device it won't find the signal. Two weeks later the one in my living room did the same thing. Not sure what's going on, but something changed (probably firmware), because neither one can get a WiFi signal now. That changes them from "barely useful" to "ABSOLUTE JUNK". The support is still non-existent as well.1/28/22: Update. No change in the lack of function. Both cameras have been useless for the last month and a half at least. No new firmware updates available that I haven't already tried.. no answer from support. Blurams cameras are not worth it, even if the price point was "nice". Having the company use what appears to be a PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE firmware update and lack of support is a hard "no" for me. If your company doesn't want me to believe this isn't something you are doing to "encourage" upgrading, provide an actual solution. These cameras have nothing physically wrong with them, and If I could set this down to no stars for the review, I would.P.S. "Factory resetting" an electronic device with "upgraded firmware" does not downgrade or "revert" the firmware, so if the device "upgraded" to a bad version of firmware, you either have to know how to load a different version of the firmware manually, or you're SOL.Update 3/11/2022: I don't like to "give up", so I was still occasionally browsing for a solution to this issue. I found it last week. Apparently the Blurams camera does not like it when you have set your background to "dark" on an Android phone, and then try to scan the QR code with the camera to connect the camera to the WiFi. This is the most ridiculous bug I've ever seen. Why in the world a setting for if your screen is a light or dark background should affect the QR code scan in is beyond me.. but they need to fix that and at least both cameras are online and working again. I changed the background to "light" theme and both cameras connected as expected after a short delay. As an added bonus, I discovered the scheduling is now fixed and I have been able to minimize the amount of painful useless notifications I used to get. I still receive a false positive movement notification when the the camera ticks over to the scheduled "on" time every morning, but I can put up with that... for now. I am raising my score to reflect these changes. They still don't get 5 stars for now. I can't change the amount of time that the recording function goes for when the camera detects motion or sound, and that is problematic.

Pocas falsas alarmas

Not a good AI or Cloud Camera
After testing it for more than a week I think I wasted my money on this AI Camera. YI and Mi was offering much better versions at the similar price. I bought it for my Factory to monitor night movementsPros1. Quality of Image2. Active all the time3. Options like Presets and Panorama4. Alarm is very much audibleCons1. Controls are very sluggish2. PTZ option sucks. Needs an update3. Don't buy this Camera for Cloud services. They say its for lifetime but it is only for 29 Days4. Max SD card supported is 32GB5. Non Returnable. So if you have made the purchase you can't return it back for refund6. Tilt and viewing angle could have been a little more7. Facial Recognition what? Hahaha8. Cloud services for a year is expensive than the Camera itself.9. Camera stops functioning if there is slight interference in the WiFi. No Wifi, No Recording, No monitoring10. There should have been a power backup for atleast 10-20 mins

Not NEW! likely a product that was returned.
The packaging was opened when I received it, the product itself has blemishes and signs of use, and the set button has a clear mark from a pen. Even though the product itself is working as expected, I didn't expect a used product to be sold as a new one.
