I bought this item to primarily chop up brazil nuts, which are notoriously hard. This is such a wonderful little device, it does a cracking job. I have found it best to process just one nut at a time, there are 2 settings one for coarse chopping, the other for fine chopping, and it all comes apart very easily for washing. The fact that it isn't electrical means that you can control the degree to which the nuts are chopped. I'm very pleased with it. I think it's fantastic.

I'm on a new healthier eating plan, and a lot of the breakfasts + desserts require chopped nuts. It can be very time consuming to chop specific types of nuts for the recipes, this device saves so much time and is very easy to use (clockwise for a finer pieces and anticlockwise for slightly larger pieces). I love this product and wish I had found it sooner...would certainly recommend.

It chops up peanut very well it saves so much time

Works very well ,- - used to chop Almond, Brazil, Walnut and Cashew nuts for sprinkling onto porridge. Top view with 20p piece gives an indication of coarse setting and side view showing nuts transferred into storage jar shows how the process even on coarse setting inevitably makes some cuts finer. This was not a problem for what I wanted. Initial starting of turning handle can seem a bit stiff, but not difficult. Overall very pleased.
