Must have for a new kitchen.
We built a new kitchen and had lots of crown molding and lots of angles. I bought these for my carpenter friend and he was in heaven! They work great!

*Not* for the XSL06PT
I have a Makita XSL06PT and, according to their website, this part number "192628-9" is supposed to be the correct crown stopper set. Google the part number if you don't believe me. I opened the box to find two overly priced pieces of metal that do not secure to the miter saw base -- nor to any crown molding for that matter -- and just wobble around. After wasting 15 minutes of my life fiddling with this thing and reading the comments, I can safely join the chorus to warn other XSL06PT owners that this product is indeed *not* what you are looking for. I'll have to make my own crown stopping jig.

MAKITA STOLE $800 FROM MY DEAD GRANDMOTHER A
Overpriced garbage product, poorly engineered and manufactured. Does not hold moldings in place precisely and the high margin for error outweighs the usefulness of the tool. I feel hoodwinked and bamboozled by makita on this one. The LS1219L model saw they are made for is also a large hunk of dried turd with magnesium housings and poor design.

Limited adjustment
Just about worthless, poor design, limited adjustments and angles, might work ok for repeat cuts on a 45* angle or square. Would return if I was still within the time period, unfortunately didn’t try them immediately.

Only right hand stop in package
Only the righ hand stop was in the package The left hand stop was missing.

Poor Concept
This is supposed to be a stop for cutting crown moldings using the LS1013 and LS1214 saw.The stops are handed and mount to the moving portion of the table. If you change from right to left angle cut the stops must be readjusted. If more or less than exactly 45 degrees the work must be removed and the stops must be readjusted. These make work fine for saws that have small movable tables and the stops mount the stationery part of the table, but it worthless for the LS1013.
