Big Smith Men's Stonewashed Bib Overall, 46x30

These overalls fit nicely and were true to size through the chest but a little tight in the waist. The material is a bit thinner than found in Carhartt overalls. Saying that, the legs were about three inches longer than the 32" inseam I ordered. Easy to hem up and too much trouble to exchange them for a shorter leg size. Nice color and less expensive than name brand overalls. Will buy another pair soon.

So I love these overalls. Great for working around the yard. No struggling to keep pants up while working. Front pockets can securely hold cell phone or wallet. Fabric is already broke in and comfortable. Got size and length perfect by using sizing instructions. If I could get the same overalls in a tan color or camo would by done more.

*Edit…after using for a couple of weeks I thought I should add that the length could be a little longer. These ones work fine but my husband wears the straps at the end and has a little bit of a “highwater” look. Not a big deal for him since he wears boot at work and does not like excess length. But if the length of the legs are a concern try the length normally worn and if too long return for shorter pair.This was my fist time ordering dungarees for my husband and did not know to order differently than Jean/slack size. For reference my husband is 5’10” , 210# and wears 38” x 30” Levi’s and Dickies. He is a little bulkier in his chest and gut. The first order I went 38x30 and though they fit great (did not wash to shrink) there was not enough room for him to wear to work (construction work with need for extra bending, twisting and space for movement). If he planned on wearing for comfort we would have kept the first order. After reading a lot of reviews I returned the 38x30 for 42x28 size and they work great! He now has three pairs and the little extra room has the benefit of air flow during these hot summer days.

I am definitely overweight and the measurement for the top of the overall was perfect. However, all overall manufacturers start the inseam at the crotch when realistically, because of them being overalls, doesn't really start until about four inches lower and you can never find sizes where the inseam is that short. I am 5'8" and the 30 inch inseam was the lowest supported in my waist size. I really could have used a 26 inch inseam but even in smaller waist sizes 28 inch seems to be the shortest they go. These are not dress pants where inseams go higher for looks. I guess that I need to learn to sew but feel that I should be able to buy a proper size. Other than that, They are comfortable, flexible, and seem well made, I just have to cuff them up and worry about tripping.

I just got mine today and been wearing them all day long. I've not wore overalls for almost 40 years, I been diagnosed with hernia and pressure from my belt made life difficult. So I bought a pair larger then my size to keep the pressure off my stomach and they been great. They got pockets for all my usual items with no problem. The material is a little thinner then I expected but if that becomes an issue I'll update this review. The leg length seems to be a bit long as well. As a bonus, they sure make riding around on my old 2040 Deere look more official like (update) I found another brand I like a little more for day to day use. I will continue to buy these however because there affordable to ruin. I work with asphalt a lot and nothings gonna last long out here. These are a great option for those with the need, I'm fixing to order 4 more pair today.
