Review and Advice
These are standard lightweight crutches for much cheaper than I could find in stores. The padding is good quality (I recommend buying covers for extra cushion) and the feet haven't slid yet, even in slick rainy weather. Very adjustable for the price; both the overall length and the hand holds are adjustable. These seem very sturdy and would probably last a lifetime of occaisional use if you keep covers over the pads and put new feet on as needed. I am going on my fourth week on crutches and if this wasn't my last week I would probably need to replace the feet, however, I have put quite a few miles on them and the wear seems appropriate.Tips:- When you are standing, your crutches should not touch your armpits, they should be an inch or two lower.- Remember to adjust the height as you go from barefoot to different shoes.- Stairs: always have the rail on your good side and the crutch on your bad side. Up: lead with your good leg, as you hop up pull yourself with the rail. Down: lead with your bad leg, put your crutch and bad leg onto the lower step and then hop down with your good leg. Rest as often as you need to, better to be slow than miss a step.

Great value, like the hand grips.
I have been using these for 9 days so far and thought I'd post a quick review since there aren't any others on this product yet. Since I'm non-weight bearing on one leg, the extent of my use has been primarily around the house and a couple minor shopping outings. I will be using these for a few more weeks and will update if necessary. They are easily adjusted. I am between 5'6" and 5'7", but surprisingly, find these most comfortable when on the 5'8" setting (and at this, they sit the suggested 2" below my armpit). The underarm/hand padding is rubbery, with a little more give than on some other crutches I've previously used, which I find a bit more comfortable (let's be honest, crutches are never going to be comfortable). The palms of my hands are a little sore, especially in the morning, but not nearly as much as expected. My underarms have been perfectly comfortable - no soreness whatsoever (they should sit an inch or two below your armpits so they don't rub). Make sure to dry your hands very well after washing or they can slip on the hand grips. The crutch tips seem to grip well and the edges adjust nicely to different angles/uneven ground. The tips almost have a suction cup like grip on wood flooring - not so much that I get 'stuck', but enough that I feel like they take a little extra energy to use, thus slowing me down just a little (a good thing safety-wise, I suppose). So far, seems like a good purchase for a very reasonable price.UPDATE: I have been using these now for just over 5 weeks, the first 4 were non-weight bearing and the last 1+ week has been partial wb. As far as crutches go, I'm still 'liking' them. They've made their way outdoors several times, including through snow and rock (carefully). The tips are showing minor wear around the edges, but traction is still just fine. The hand/arm padding shows zero wear - looks new! I plan on saving these for potential future use (sigh). I'm upgrading to 5 stars because of how well they've performed and how reasonable the price was.

Lightweight, easy height adjustments, good price
It is very lightweight and comes pre-assembled though Amazon shipped it in an absolutely huge box.Basic crutches that will get the job done for most people, especially at the price I bought it of $21.There are only 2 small issues;1. suction cups on the bottom are actually pretty strong, I've almost fallen a couple times when the suction cup did not want to release when moving over my non-carpeted floor, yet it still slipped in water on the bathroom tile.2. I've never used crutches before so maybe this is normal but the protective padding at the top of the crutches is 'sticky' as in when I try to step out of the crutches to do something, my shirt often sticks and there seems to be some chafing.I have large bruises and red/yellow skin around my shoulder socket where I rest all my weight when moving with the crutches. It is possible I simply overdid it, my watch did show over 12,000 steps in the crutches because I was catching up on stuff the first day after only being able to hop one one foot for the week before, but taking a shower the next morning there was noticeable irritation. After three days there is still irritation but it has not gotten any worse, it might simply be a combination of weight/pressure + movement and would happen it almost any crutches.

I'm 5'-10" and these worked out perfect for me.
Recently injured an ankle and picked these up so I could get around a bit better instead of using an old walker. They are really very sturdy, super easy/quick to adjust. My height is right on the line between this model and the Tall Adult model (5'-10" > 6'-6"), but this one works fine at the full extension - any higher would be uncomfortable to use for me. Plus, thinking long-term, my shorter wife could use these in the future if needed.Paid $20 and very pleased with the purchase. I would recommend picking up a set of Foam Pads for Crutches to go with them, esp. if it's your first time with crutches. These come with really sturdy/durable rubber pads (hand grips and armpits), but they started to become uncomfortable after a few hours of constant use and the Foam Pads really helped me out with that issue. But, some my find the Foam is too bulky and gets in the way under the armpits and makes the hand grips too big to grab if you have small hands, so keep that in mind too.
