Review based on my nephew's choice
Based on the fact that this is one of my nephew's favorite Amazon kids movies; I'd have to give it 5 stars. This movie will keep him inactive for the duration of the movie and sometimes puts him to sleep. I'll take this narrated none talking, granting children's animated movie over a lot of the mind dulling kids shows. After all, the animals don't talk here...lol

Okay and suitable for certain ages
It is an okay show with no talking just sounds and a few voice overviews. Some of the material not suitable for young age group such as farting. All and all okay and entertaining if children enjoy this style of show.

Terrible message to children about consent. Please read.
Aside from the poor animation, this movie teaches kids the wrong message about consent. Let me explain. Here's the scenario: the polar bear likes a penguin. He brings her a gift. She is clearly not interested and does not accept the gift. He persists, to the point she gets up from her seat to walk away. He continues to follow her. She slips and hits her head, passing out. He picks her up and tries to bring her to her house, but finds he's too large to fit in her door, so he takes her back to her house. She awakens in a strange place, disoriented, and is frightened. He tries to bring her food to make her feel better, but presents her with a scary fish and an apple with a big worm in it, frightening her further. She tries to run away, slips, and he picks her up, and ties her to a chair. The narrator says he doesn't want her to hurt herself again. I shut it off at that point. My 5 year old was confused, "But he's trying to be nice!" But my argument was, "He's not. He isn't listening to her. She is saying 'No' to him, walking away from him, and he isn't listening to her. That is not nice behavior. If he was being nice, he would let her walk away."If you were to put humans in this same scenario, it would appear much darker and frankly, frightening. Please, don't show this movie to your kids, boys OR girls. Just that small snippet teaches them that pursuing and overpowering someone is okay as long as you like them. Which is a terrible message to teach any child.

He is pretty picky with animations but really liked this movie
It was a decent movie. The story was enjoyable. The animation was okay. My young son was glued to the screen. He is pretty picky with animations but really liked this movie. I would recommend for toddlers and young children.

Great Movie!
I downloaded this, along with some other movies free from Amazon Prime for my grandson when riding in the car. He prefers this one everytime over the others. Great Movie!!

No thanks
The sounds made by the child & animals annoyed me a little and it just seemed to go on & on. My 4 year old watched it all the way through but we likely will not watch it again.
