Athlon Optics Helos BTR 1-4.5x24 Riflescope - ATSR3 FFP IR MOA, Black

Is very easy use and very repeatable zeros.

Adjustable parallax is great. Reticle and exposed turrets are perfect for Service Rifle and dialing your dope. Its a bit on the heavy side but packs a lot of features into a small size. The illumination is good for target shooting; this isn't a run-n-gun 3gun optic, the Athlon 1-6, 1-8 & 1-10s are better for 3gun. White Oak Armament sells a Lens Reducer for this that fits Butler Creek caps. I shot Appleseed 400KD with this optic and did better (47/50) than my runs using a Nightforce NX8 (45/50). The Helos BTR 4.5x has a fine center aim point for precision work, and the adjustable parallax/side focus really helps to shrink your groups. I liked the Helos BTR 4.5x so much, bought a 2nd one for the AR22 training upper. If you're going to do Service Rifle, probably want an extreme cantilever mount or riser, bridge and rings.

I just mounted this scope on my XTC rifle, the ability to focus perfectly at 200, 300 and 600 yards is making this a no brainer for those of us, who want a good value for our competition rifles! I just used it in a match, I shot an excellent score. The ability to see the scoring rings at 600 yards with a 4.5 power scope is amazing! Buy this scope, you won't be disappointed!

A decent scope if you are just transitioning from iron sights to compete in HP matches.Not the superb optics of the high end scopes, but 1/3 the cost! Bought two of them, one for my wife.

I am really impressed with athalon optics. This particular one is designed for highpower xtc competition. I have not had the chance to use it in a match yet. But the knobs are huge and easy to read. The reticle is perfect for my eyes and it tracks well.

Came with no packing and completely opened. Has slight fog in it also.
