Suits my taste
I bought this when I couldn't get Lavazzo Oro. I'm not sorry as this is rather good. Two measures in a cafetiere and left for four minutes give you a good, strong cup of coffee. I will buy this again.

Good value for money
Honestly some really decent coffee for the money - I personally like strong coffee so added an extra tablespoon of coffee to my cafetière and that worked our really well for me.

Strong and earthy flavour
Flavour is rich, bitter, earthy and strong. Not much of a crema when brewed, but overall a fresh and robust morning coffee. Good value for money too, coming in a 2 pack.

Do not buy - seriously, don't
I almost never write reviews, but I felt so compelled to warn people against this one. I am a huge coffee junkie, and most coffee fly well with me. HOWEVER, this coffee makes me gag and want to throw up. Instantly, when you open the bag, the aroma is not like coffee at all - but like sesame oil. I tried the coffee two different ways - as an espresso and then a latte. Both don't to far from feeling like you are drinking black sesame oil. I will probably throw away both bags and go back to my old coffees. This experience unfortunately made me to be less adventurous with my coffees... (I don't know how there are so many good reviews.... seriously. Are they fake reviews???)

Rich & Delicious... a great way to start the day!
Rich & delicious, better than any coffee I've bought in a supermarket. I can't understand how anyone could find this bitter, unless they are making it with boiling water (which will burn any coffee but it more noticeable with richer blends).

Not sure if the product was off
Working as a professional barista maestro for years I tried hundreds of different coffees along the way, I usually drink just straight espresso and I do a dark roast.Unfortunately, I am not sure if this product was off or that is simply the taste of it, but as soon as I opened it there was no real aroma coffee smell coming out of it, it was mostly a mix of ashtray and old used coffee.The taste was extremely bitter, watery but mostly flavourless, no aroma no complexity, I really do think the coffee used was off or really old.
