AERO ARMOR Google Nexus 9 Case, Protective Case for Google Nexus 9 Tablet 8.9 Inch - White

If this had cost more, I'd have only rated it at a 4 because it's a little on the cheap materials side. But, because it is cheap, it's just fine. I had purchased a magnetic closure slim case whose front cover split. Its free replacement did the same. I decided to try this one for around the house since the tablet back is not tactile enough for me to hold securely without a case. This case has a very "grippy", rubberlike back which is set into the plastic frame without being totally flush-better protection for laying it on it's back. The front also has enough wrap-around to keep the screen protected when laying the tablet face down on a flat surface. I bought the white which seems to have a slight silver/gray tint to it. I really like it, even though there's not much surface area that is colored. The case is a perfect fit, but the absolute best thing about this case is that, now, the buttons work perfectly!

Good case. It's got a flexible skin and then a hard shell that slips on over that. I have a "ballistic" brand phone case with the same design, which is why I wanted this for my tablet. It has nubbins over the power and volume buttons, so if you have a hard time pressing them (like I do), you will appreciate the nubbins.

Pretty good. But poor tactile feedback. Good protection on the corners, which is what I care about. I added little plastic washers under the soft rubber so it would prop up. A recommendation for future versions- make the rubber at the corners thicker. What's not so great is that the power and volume are so squishy that it's hard to tell if the button's pushed if the device isn't immediately reacting (like if you need to long-hold the power to reboot) so you just have to push too hard.

Actually bought two cases at the same time so I could switch back and forth.Ended up liking the other one much better, because it has a kickstand.This one got used maybe twice. Now it's in a box... listed for sale (used).It's pretty nice though. Great for the price. Felt like the tablet was safe when in this case.

Wow a premium case so inexpensively. I purchased a gel case for another nexus 9 I have. Both are used by children and dropped regularly and both do the job so far. This one looks a little more heavy duty though. The buttons are easier to push than the gel case. It is not obvious from the pictures but this is a two piece case. Soft black rubber that gets covered by hard plastic red and black case.

My Nexus 9 has dropped from ~6 feet and survived without a scratch with this thing. I've dropped it countless times onto concrete, cement, and other hard/terrible surfaces and the only thing that took damage (barely any) was the case. It's landed on the corner of the screen from ~4 feet onto cement and nothing.. nada... no scratch... there was dirt on the corner of the case because it was my garage... I did however almost cry when I dropped it but quickly sucked that tear back into my eye when I noticed nothing was wrong with my tablet. Also, my 3 yr old toddler plays with my tablet and you know what... I'm not afraid... Well sometimes... He is 3 and all....

The product appeared well-made. The outside edge of the cover placed constant pressure on the power button, causing the tablet to cycle restarts. I tried to stretch and move the case to stop the pressure/restarts with negative results. Returned and received refund promptly.

Nice case, but it added a substantial amount of weight to the device. If you're looking for a lightweight option, you may want to look elsewhere.
