As a teacher, I LOVE having these books in the classroom as a resource. The kids want to read them because they are comics, and they "accidentally" end up learning a whole lot of history along the way. The fifth graders I have now seem to really enjoy the little crab characterLove the teaching resources that accompany each comic. Love that difficult words are explained. Love having visual representations to make history come alive for kids.In summary: love, love love!

I bought the Chester Comix series for my daughter who is a 4th grader, heading into 5th in the fall. I can't keep her hands off them- and who would want to? I love that she is bringing them on trips in the car and reading, learning, turning pages...it's so cool to see her fired up about history. She has friends ask to borrow them- even her teacher asked if the class could PLEASE borrow them to look at! Fantastic learning tool! Yay for Chester Comix!!

These comics are enjoyed by our entire family. Our 10 year old son can't seem to put them down as the illustrations and content are clever and entertaining. We love how Bently Boyd brings history to life in a fun, creative and easy reading style for all reading levels. After my son is finished reading he can't wait to share what he read with the entire family. We have acquired the entire set of Chester Comix with Content Series and love them all. These make a GREAT gift for anyone of any age or even for teachers as they are an awesome learning tool. A gift that keeps giving. This is a definate must have for the entire family. ENJOY!
