This was easy to fit and easy to wire up

I ordered this unit for my pond gubbins as it was quite a lot cheaper than the named brand of pond unit , the unit seems sturdy enough and was easy to fit only gripe was the wire terminal holes are quite small making it a little difficult to insert the wires fully into the terminals,it seems to work really well i added a few waterproof stickers so i know which switch does what

Really nice well made and easy to wire. However no screws to attach it to anything supplied and when you do you have to make holes in the back which then make it not water proof. I used silicon sealant to reseal it and make it water proof. Product needs a bracket or something to attach it with rather than have to puncture the back to mount it

... this box is now serving me well, controlling pump and UV for my garden pond. Unlike others reviewing here, I found no problem at all connecting to this box, regardless of whether or not it was attached at the time.However, initially switch 1 (left hand) was not working, and I had to detach/reattach a few times to check my equipment. When all checked out, in my frustration, I flipped the switch 5-6 times, and it suddenly started working, and has been reliable ever since. Hence 4 *.

I needed a multiple switch for the pump and three filters (so I have two spare slots for future proofing) in my fountain coming off a single 13a supply. Having checked the ratings on the pump & filters and this switch all looked good and has worked fine. I guess this is the application it was designed for. My switch sits inside a manhole (with cover) so it's protected from the elements and allows me to individually switch each pump & filter which is great if ever I need to isolate one. Seems well made but was a bit fiddly to fit as connections small - no different to many electrical fittings!

I liked its sturdiness and design. Introducing the armoured cable was easy. Connecting the smaller wires was a bit fiddly. My main grouse was that there were no instructions for connecting the brass ring with earthwire attached. I phoned the maker, and their electrical specialist said my suggestion of attaching the ring to the armoured cable and the earth to the earth socket was probably right, but I should check with an electrician!! They make the thing and cannot give a definite answer!!!!!

Would recommend as a first time user. Sturdy switch system. Yes it a little fiddly, but aren’t they all? Its compact, easy to install. The only thing missing is labels to the switches. I used masking tape to label. On side of pond everything in one place. Fantastic so happy.
