The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 1: The Official Illustrated Movie Companion Paperback – December 13, 2011

I'm a 50 year old man who recently got hooked on Twilight. I'm actually a little embarrassed by it, but I just can't help myself. I've read every book and seen every movie several times. I wanted to know more about the new Breaking Dawn movie, so I picked up this book. It was great. Plenty of big color pictures of the cast and crew. Lots of good behind the scenes stories. If you are interested at all in Twilight, and especially in this movie, you owe it to yourself to get this book.

I always love getting the movie companions to films that I love. All the behind-the-scenes details and photos are great.Only real bummer for me is that they didn't make one of these for Breaking Dawn Part 2. Instead there was some saga guide with lots of little inserts and stuff (or so I hear--I didn't get it) that probably appeals more to the young fans. Really disappointing that they didn't give the final film its due treatment, but nothing anyone can do about that now. Still, this is enjoyable just the same, and you can get a good feel for what the general production of BD was like.

I bought this to round out my twilight book collection and am very pleased with the condition that it arrived in ! The pages are intact and clean, the only thing cosmetically wrong with it is the spine’s binding is a little wrinkled, but it’s hardly noticeable.

The new Breaking Dawn Movie Companion book is an excellent movie companion book. Filled with good quality pictures of the cast and crew, behind-the scenes information, quotes from the stars of the movie. They did a good job in compiling this book.I really enjoyed the movie "Breaking Dawn 1", considering it the best one of the "Twilight" series. It is so nice to have this high-quality book as a pictorial keepsake of the movie. I would recommend this book to all Twilight fans.

I'm probably one of the biggest Twilight fans out there! The purchase of this book was a no brainer for me, as I have purchased all of the previous movie companion books for the previous movies. What I love about this installment are the illustrations and written description of the special effects used to make Bella look like she was wasting away to nothing while pregnant. The movie's special effects were awesome and it was fascinating to see how it was done.

FINALLY! The LONG-awaited wedding of Bella & Edward!! Their honeymoon on Isle Esme! The birth of their daughter, Renesmee! Bella's transformation! It's ALL there, along with some GREAT DVD extras!! I gotta admit -- I was disappointed that director, Bill Condon, did the commentary on the movie, instead of Rob Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart. I was also disappointed that there were no extended or deleted scenes included on this DVD, as with some of the others from the "Twilight Saga". I hope when the Breaking Dawn - Part 2 DVD comes out, it includes more commentary from some of the stars, as well as more deleted scenes.

Yes, I'm a twi-mom:) I have all the companion books for the Twilight saga and they have not disappointed. I love having all the details explaining how things work, the dynamics on set and how the cast and crew interacted. I also love having the pictures to just appreciate over and over. Great job on all four, Mr. Mark Cotta Vaz! I can't wait for the next one!
