I own the Big Agnes AXL pad. Blowing up a pad with your own hot air makes you dizzy and isn't a great end to a great hike. Certainly not an ideal way to start the evening at camp. With this pump sack, you use the air around you to inflate your pad. Just a few huffs and puffs from Mother Nature and your pad is good to go. It's literally that simple to use. Whoever invented this is a GENIUS! It's also ultralight-weight. You don't even know its in your pack. I just fold it or roll it in with my pad. It is also designed to be a stuff sack when not in use as a pump sack. Getting double duty out of this item, increases its value tremendously. Absolutely worth the investment.

Great Product
I'm on my third Big Agnes pad and now have the excellent Q-Core SLX. I have had mold get into pads before from blowing them up over years and it's pretty gross. I got the Pumphouse to work with the new valve system the pad uses so I didn't have to use my breath to blow it up. The one way valve makes this process easy. I love this system. The pump bag can fit in the stuff sack the pad uses or you can use it as a stuff sack. It makes blowing up the pad quick and easier than ever. A great product.

This bag blows.
It does what it is supposed to and is super lightweight and small when packed. Sometimes I put clothes in it and use it as a spare pillow. If you want to bring a pump sack but you are in the variety of hikers that has Dyneema anything this is the pump sack for you. It does less volume per pump than the Ultra but it's not tedious to blow up a regular Big Agnes Q-Core pad with it.

Very light and fairly efficient but too small to be fast.
Okay product but just not enough Air volume. Takes about 7 times to inflate the 25 by 72 Big Agnes QLX

Expensive for what it is, but works well
Works to save inside of mattress from moisture, and saves breath after long hike.Fits well.

Better than blowing up a pad manually
Saves your breath after a long day of hiking. If I did it again, however, I'd save the money and get the regular pumphouse. The extra money wasn't worth the weight saving in my opinion.
