Schoolhouse Mystery (The Boxcar Children Mysteries)

My daughter borrowed this book from the library and, unfortunately lost it. Thank you, Amazon for saving the day with a brand new copy, arrived in prime time! (See what I did there?)As for the book itself, my daughter loves all the Boxcar children books and The Schoolhouse Mystery is no exception. A simple, timeless story of a family of children who work together to figure out a mystery, as well as caring for others and each other along the way. The Boxcar children books are great because they are SAFE. As a parent, I like that I can trust these books to encourage kindness to others and the adventures that are had in them, although sometimes a bit far-fetched to an adult, track well with the adventuresome ten-year-olds mind.

Am buying this series of books for my oldest grandson who is in second grade. He really loves these books and I'm happy that he loves to read these books. If you have kids or grandkids, this is an awesome series about a young family who lost both parents and then were found by their grandfather. They live in their "boxcar" that they were in when Grandpa found them. He had it set up on his property so they could still enjoy their "boxcar home". It's a detective series and the kids solve the mysteries using their own detective skills. It truly is good, I actually read them too! I think most kids, male & female, will love the books!

I love this book. The Boxcar Children Mystery's are my favorite books. I gave this book a four star rating because once I started reading it, I felt drawn to it. I was excited to read it during the day and this book made reading fun for me. That is why I gave The Boxcar Children Mystery #10 a four star rating.

We've read and listened to Boxcar Children books for several years. My avid readers (7 yr old girl and 5 yr old boy) can't get enough of these treasures, so we're slowly adding books 1-19 (the ORIGINAL Gertrude Chandler Warner) to our home library rather than checking them out at the public library.

As good as the rest, story-wise, but very few pictures in this one (which my kids don't like as much). As a whole, this series is great. I read it aloud to them most nights before bed (Age range 5yrs to 9yrs)

My grandchildren love the "Boxcar Children" books. It is nice to have a reliable series of books that you can depend upon to entertain and create a desire in children to read books. I found that the children actually looked forward to receiving a new book in the series.

My daughter will finish a book a day if i let her and she is burning a whole in my pocket reading these as fast as she does. she loves all the books in the series

The add implies that you’ll receive a set of 10. It was a single paperback volume I could have purchased for .99 cents elsewhere.
