KOHLER K-CB-CLC3026FS Beveled Medicine Cabinet with Mirror Doors & Adjustable Shelves, Rectangular Beveled Edge Frame, 30" x 26"

Installed this mirrored medicine cabinet a couple of weeks ago. It looks nice and has lots of room. The wife seems very satisfied. My only small gripe is that it didn’t come with any sort of mounting template, so a lot of measuring and math had to be done to insure holes went in the right places in the wall. But that ok, it was good mental exercise and turned out fine. The materials are nice, it feels strong, but also relatively lite for its size. No regrets.

This medicine cabinet is wonderful: looks nice, relatively easy to install, well constructed and very functional.My wife likes the look of the cabinet. She particularly likes the two-door design. With both doors open she is able see the back of her head while brushing and combing her hair. The side mirrors reflect the light from the light fixtures making the room brighter. I'm not sure if I like the mirror on the inside behind the shelves. But that doesn't really matter.I did a surface installation which was simple and straightforward. The instructions were easy to understand. Mounting the cabinet required only common hand tools: a level, pencil, measuring tape, drill, screwdriver and wall anchors (not provided). Some cautions: I did use a stud finder to be sure there were no pipes or wiring where I was drilling into the wall; and to locate the studs to mount the lower cabinet bracket. Be VERY careful when you place the side mirrors on the cabinet. I installed one of the side mirrors slightly out of alignment. I had not yet put any pressure on it to firmly attach it. But the glue was so strong I was unable to move it to get the precise alignment I wanted. Make sure the mirror is exactly where you want it to be before placing it on the glue pads. I also removed the doors to reduce the weight of the unit during installation. Reinstalling them was quick and easy. And the hinges are well designed for realigning the doors.The adjustable shelves allow the user to arrange the distances between each shelf to suit whatever needs to be stored in the cabinet. And as I mentioned above, the mirrors on the inside the doors allow you to view the back of your head for grooming.In short, we love this cabinet and consider it a great value. But I want to address some of the complaints other reviewers (not many) have left.Some mentioned damaged cabinets, broken mirrors and/or missing parts. I found the cabinet to be extremely well packaged and nothing was missing. A few reviewers cited the mirrors falling off the cabinet so I checked to see if they were securely attached. I didn't do chin-ups on the mirrors but they seemed very well secured. I cannot imagine the mirrors detaching from the cabinet. One person mentioned the shelf brackets were too small and would not allow the shelves to slide into place. Another wrote the predrilled holes for the shelf brackets were not correctly aligned. I found them spot on and the shelves slid into place with very slight pressure. Considering the small amount of one-star ratings when compared to the four and five-star ratings, I think anyone can be confident they are ordering a quality product with good value.

This is a beautiful medicine cabinet with plenty of space for all of the essentials. It looks great even when wall-mounted as it comes with mirrored sides. Adjustable shelves means that a can of hairspray actually fits and the other two shelves are still tall enough for medium height items. My only complaint is that the doors are not soft close. Seems like something we’ll get used to but it’s definitely regrettable. Too late to box it back up and swap it out for another one now!

This is our third Kohler medicine cabinet and we absolutely love it! Excellent quality. Whoever designed this really took the installation into consideration. When screwing in the hanger bar for a surface mount we realized our wall was bowed just a bit however the clips you screw on made up for that so they really did think of everything. Perfect installation on an imperfect wall. We got the thinner size cabinet and it holds plenty of stuff. And I know colors customer service is excellent because we had a piece missing from the last one and they sent a replacement immediately. I will always buy Kohler now. This is the 35 inch model that's over our 36 inch vanity. I probably could have gone a tad smaller but that's okay.

This medicine cabinet looks nice, but that's about all I can say that is positive about it. I ordered it in May, and the contractor who was fixing stuff in my ancient, tiny, and only bathroom installed it right away. On that fateful day we learned that the box didn't come with the brackets/supports to hang the shelves inside the cabinet.I contacted Kohler, they sent me the plastic things to stick into the sides inside the cabinet to hang the shelves. One problem: they didn't fit! The piece that fits into the holes is 2-3 times larger than the hole it would need to go into.I contacted Kohler again, they sent me new ones. They are identical to the last ones. I call them, they tell me to "try sanding them down a little". Sure, it's fine to try to get some sandpaper and painstakingly sand these things down to a fraction of their original size. Except they end up as little cones and can't support anything by the time they're small enough to be jammed in the hole.I have a medicine cabinet and can't put the shelves in it. The kicker? I visited my sister a few months ago and she has the same medicine cabinet, and the holes in hers are (in which to stick the plastic things) are, guess what, 2-3 times larger than the holes in my cabinet! I don't want to take this thing out of my wall, I have no idea how to do it, and the prospect is exhausting. I hate this cabinet and wish I hadn't bought it.Beyond this ridiculous defective cabinet, guess what they did BY DESIGN? For some reason, the cabinet door opens up 180 degrees. I, like many humans in the world, have a bathroom where the medicine cabinet is on the adjacent wall to the main mirror. So if you open this door a smidge too quickly or too much, the lovely pointy beveled corners will slam right into your other mirror and break it. I inquired to learn if there is a way to prevent it from opening so far, but no, that would be silly, there is no way.In conclusion, I hate this medicine cabinet and it mocks me every single day of my life in my only bathroom and if I could magically send it into the sun, I would do so in a second.
