KOHLER 1133070 Bumper Service Kit

These are 2 Perfect Kohler toilet lid replacement bumpers. In the photo, the "wide opening" bumper is the new one, and the "narrow opening" bumper is the old one that fell out. Replacing it does not need adhesive or glue. Just clean the area where the bumper came out, dry it, and pop in the replacement. It's easy, but when you get the package, there are no instructions. How to determine what bumpers to get and what model your Kohler toilet is. I used X (formerly Twitter)'s Grok to ask how to determine that for a Kohler toilet. It said that information would be stamped under the toilet water tank's lid. I turned the lid over, and saw 2 numbers plus the manufacture date of 1999, so I did another Grok search for "kohler toilet 84250 20304". It reported: The Kohler toilet model associated with the number "84250" is specifically linked to the tank lid for the Kohler San Raphael Lite one-piece toilet, model K-3384. So it ignored the other number, but gave me useful information. Back to Amazon, I searched for "Kohler San Raphael Lite toilet lid bumpers" and after checking out a few of the results, I came here. It could not have been easier. I like that these are Kohler genuine parts too.

I received (4) black & (4) white bumpers. My pic below shows what I received for Kohler K-1133070, but there are different numbers on the package. This Service Kit contains: (2) White with formed catch (2) While w/o formed catch (2) Black with formed catch (2) Black w/o formed catch This isn't described anywhere, and it's confusing when it arrives if you don't know that you're getting two different styles and two different colors, and have to choose which to use. Choosing the color is easy; choosing the style . . . For the two Kohler toilet seats I own (2015 & 2018), the bumpers on the seats all have a stiffer material on the top half than the bottom half, and a formed catch that snaps into place. The bottom is a rubber-like pliable material, and the top half is stiffer plastic. The ones without the formed catch are all of the same pliable material, and do not snap in to the seat: they are a friction fit instead. I was able to replace a missing bumper on one of my seats with one of the white w/catch versions and it fit perfectly. For a test, I installed one of the other type that are all of the softer rubber-like material, and they will install into my seat too, but do not install as far into their receiver, leaving more protruding on the bottom of the seat. They might work, but they might also fall out. I reinstalled the original style with the plastic top with the formed catches, and stowed the rest.

These bumpers are perfect if you have a Kohler toilet seat model that uses them. Exact fit, easy to install. That being said, Kohler warranties their seats for a year, if your toilet seat loses one or both bumpers and you're within a year, you should be able to call/email Kohler and have them send you these bumpers for free. If delivery time is a factor, or you're out of warranty, buying these bumpers is obviously much cheaper than buying an entire seat (and less wasteful).

Four stars only for pricing. Installed a new Kohler Highline, elongated bowl, and noticed that the seat was missing one of the rubber inserts. After numerous failed attempts to reach the company (also, closed on weekends), I found this on Amazon. It is a bit pricy for what you are getting, but that was made up for with the speed of delivery. Fit perfectly and was exactly what I needed.

Bumper perfectly fit the enlongated soft close seat on my Highland Arc Extra Tall toilet.

Perfect fit. Don’t know why Kohler toilet seats use silicone bumpers that fall out. These were hard to find -thanks

My handyman accidentally threw out the originals that came with my newly purchased toilet. However, I was able to quickly find these affordable replacements on Amazon. Super easy to pop in & now I don’t have to clean inside that little area. Great quality and perfect fit!

These fit right into our toilet easily. The ones for our toilet normally gets stuck to the physical bowl and they tend to rip out and stay out for long periods of time and accidentally get flushed. I might just want glue these in place but I’m just so happy that these were the official ones from the company and the quality is perfect.

Fit perfect but the actual dimensions are about 36 mm long x 10 mm wide and 10 mm deep of which 5 mm sticks out of the pocket on the toilet seat once the bumpers are installed.

Little expensive but needed them, works as they should.

These are the original replacement part for the Kohler quiet closing seat and fit great. There are only 2 issues I have. The first is that this is the only toilet seat that I’ve ever had the bumper wear out and need replacement (and these do wear out). The second is that they come in two colours (clear and black), and THE ONLY WAY you can buy them is in a pack of a pair of each colour (so you basically have to throw one colour out). There are numerous complaints on the Kohler site for the packaging but they don’t seem to care. Overall, the product fits well and does the job. Just a shame you can’t buy a single pair, or 2 pairs in the same colour.

Ordered these and package arrived with only 2 white toilet bumpers. The two black ones were nowhere to be seen, (nobody seemed to want these anyway ) Asked for a replacement and along came another package of two white toilet bumpers. As l had originally paid for a pack of four l was satisfied with my purchase and they were all in a usable colour. I used crazy glue to attach them as the last ones came out and were lost.
