I do know that they grow my many trees fast and healthy. I am about to put them down now for this year. I trust these tree spikes to grow my trees fast and sturdy. **Q: Can i use it for fruit tree?** A: The Jobe's 1611 Evergreen out door spikes are just used for evergreen's in the fall. There is a Jobe's fertilizer spike just for fruit or regular trees. **Q: I have trees 1-2 inch trunck diameter. I did not see 30' requirement. I placed 2 spikes for each tree , 6 inch from trunck. Will this burn my trees** A: Well first off it's 30" not 30', but it may very well burn them putting them that close. If you just did this I would dig out the spikes and either place new ones at 30" or try to reuse the old ones. These are a great product and I have used them for many years.
