Damaged parts were put in the box before shipping.
The media could not be loaded. I based my purchase on the reviews. The potting bench was easy to assemble and it came packed very well. However, it appears that damaged parts were still placed in the box before shipping because there was no outside indication that the outer shipping box was compromised. Because this was an oversized item, I called Amazon for resolution of the matter and they offered a percentage off the total price of the item. We ended up placing magnets to cover the dents.

great table, terrible packaging
This table is great --- very industrial, good size and sturdy. I like that it is simple and functional, and am using it on our stamped concrete patio (slate effect) with no wiggle. Covered with plants, it contrasts nicely with our wicker and slate furniture. Easy for one person to put together. The packaging, however, is TERRIBLE. My table was dinged -- big dents along the edges. No cardboard, no styrofoam, none of those air pockets that amazon uses to pack their merchandise. The seller has to fix this. There is a protective sticker over the entire surface, but the pieces are all just sliding around loose in the package, so the stickers are all worn away in long stripes along the edges. No real scratches, but it will take a lot of effort and goo be gone to get rid of the sticky. Since it is a functional/industrial type piece, I am not concerned about the dings, but if you want a perfect table, you won't get one with the packaging. All in all, I like this piece and think it is a great table for the money.

Really great table for the money! Recommend!
LOVE my new potting bench!! It has an attractive industrial look to it which I like.Size: The perfect height for me (I'm 5'8") to comfortably work. Also has lots of tabletop space so I can use 2 potting trays as at once (actually they are cheap kitty litter trays from Walmart, but work perfectly) so I can have sand in one and soil in the other and mix as I replant things :)Sturdy: To keep the table shiny and nice, I opted to set it up under the covered patio and it sits on our Kool-Deck with no wiggle; nice and sturdy. Please see pic of the close up of the plastic feet.Assembly: So easy to assemble! It took a teenager a half an hour to build it by himself.Packaging: Excellent! wrapped with a sort of scratch protective sticker on every smooth surface (see pics), my table arrived in perfect condition, no dings, dents, etc. The protective sheet didn't leave any residue of any kind, so that's a nice bonus.Accessories: I souped up my table a bit on the advice of other reviewers, actually. I added heavy duty magnetic hooks that are INCREDIBLY strong ( Netany 40 LB Heavy Duty Magnetic Hooks With Stickers, Strong Powerful Neodymium Indoor/Outdoor Magnet Hooks - 8 Pack & 16 Hooks ), and also a wire basket ( InterDesign York Lyra Pantry Under Shelf Organizer Basket - Extra Kitchen Food Storage, Silver ) to hold my larger garden tools. There are two sharp corners at the edge of the hutch-style shelf, but they are cut at a 45% angle so I don't anticipate them being a problem - just a heads up on that. Overall, this is a really great table for the money & I highly recommend!

Functional, durable, clean and straightforward
This bench doubles for me as a very convenient shelf outside my garden shed, a place to gather the tools I need for a task. It works well, and it's not *very* loud to drop metal tools on it.It does work well in its primary role as a potting bench. It's strong enough to mix soils by pouring them from one trug to another, and the shelf height works for me as a 6' male. I have to plant my feet widely, but I keep my back straight and a shelf at my hips works well when I'm mucking about inside of pots and buckets. It's probably not as durable as something you make yourself from 2x6s and plywood, nuts and bolts, and a bit of galvanized steel for the shelf *but* it's a whole heck of a lot cheaper and easier to put together and/or move around. It does seem quite durable to me: a reasonable thickness of sheet steel, with folded edges for rigidity.Attractiveness is in the eyes of the beholder, but I think the sheet metal "industrial" look goes just fine with the sheet metal garden shed and concrete chimneya in the corner of my yard.To me, it compares very favorably with some of the Ikea-style wooden potting benches that cost more. I installed it outside, so I don't want drawers or hooks; just a couple of work surfaces. Sheet metal held together with nuts and bolts and lock washers is a heck of lot more durable than flat packed wooden furniture held together with bolts screwed into holes drilled into the wood.

Nicely designed and pretty solid.
It is as good as I hoped, maybe better. It is lightweight but sturdy. I expect that it will be fine with whatever weight I throw at it. It will be a potting table and as such, I will not be asking it to do things it is not intended for.I assembled it, solo, in about 30 minutes after reading the instructions (very short, very simple) thoroughly. It has slotted holes making the assembly much simpler than trying to line up hole-to-hole. Really, a piece of cake.Note -- removing the white plastic covering *before* assembly is a good idea. It was stupid of me to leave it on. It meant having to rip it off at the connection points instead of easy peeling (I guess I thought I was protecting the unit while being assembled....not too smart).I took a long long time choosing what potting bench to buy and I'm glad I picked this one. The cheap wood ones look likely to last a couple of years if you are lucky. No reason this shouldn't be good for many years.

Came damaged
Table came damaged-not packed well at all. No protection. Back corner of the table was dented and made it very difficult to assemble the leg because the dent pushed the leg out and made it hard to get the screws in. Have it set up and it looks nice but annoying to get a brand new product damaged and one that would be a pain to ship back. It is very functional and looks great. We have plants on it and also use it as a grill prep table
