I personally think it was their local delivery person that didn't take the best care in package handling
Box/packaging was undamaged as some reviewers mentioned, I personally think it was their local delivery person that didn't take the best care in package handling. With that said, you can't beat the price for the fixture and lamps. There is a plug for daisy chaining off each other (manufacturer states max 3 fixtures total). Fixture supply cable/plug are heavy duty construction, and the cable is long. The hanging system is built in cable hangers, which can be used to adapt to any light hanging system. 2 On/Off switches to just run 4 bulbs (1 switch turns the outer 4 bulbs on, the other switch turns the center 4 bulbs on). Personally, if you're buying this, you're going to be running all 8 bulbs all the time.I replaced 3 HydroFarm CFL hoods (using 125 watt "Gro" bulbs) with this and noticed better/faster growth within a day of swapping out. I also gained height since this fixture is at least 1/4 the height of the HydroFarm hoods, plus running more watts, this fixture runs cooler than the 125 watt CFL Gro bulbs. The reflectors for each tube do a great job of utilizing all light given off by the bulb.

Works Great***broke today☹️
I just received the two foot four bulb Hydrocrunch Fixture yesterday. It was well packed and was in perfect shape. It seems well built and solid. I have none of the complaints other people mentioned. Maybe they fixed the problems. I would buy this fixture again. Note: The bulbs were well packed in a cardboard tube. I did not use them I purchased t5 LED bulbs from Southside Garden Supply; and am running all LED's; this fixture plus two four single bulb LED(one on each side)******Update☹️***** I had this going 18 hours a day for three days and today it just stopped working. It just shut off in the middle of the day. I tried switching bulbs, I verified the power. It sucks they’re going to send me another one. In the meantime my “babies” are now living under one 2 foot bulb until the replacement gets here. I will keep you updated as to whether the new one works or not

Shipping Damage on Otherwise Good Unit.
First the complaint which has lead to the 1-star review: Though it all seemed to be packaged well, two of the bulbs were broken in shipping. This happens, but after much time spent, I haven't been able to get in touch with anyone from Hydro Crunch about whether they'll replace these. Now, the review of the actual product: It seems to be well constructed and, while missing 2 of it's 4 bulbs, is still sufficient for the plants I've got growing under it. I've got it placed approximately 4 in. up from the top of my plants, and am getting PAR readings of about 350. This is entirely sufficient for my needs at this stage, and to be honest, much more powerful than I'd imagined.I've heard of people using T5 lamps through all stages of growth with good results, but am still not convinced. With this said, I think it's a great tool in getting seedlings and vegging plants the cool light they need. Intrigued to see how it performs with all its bulbs!

awesome light, sleek design
Been using ever since I recieved package, bright, nice deisign, overall great value without sacrificing quality. Over $225+ at hydro store. More like $300. 4 stars cause ultimately I cant say how it will stand the test of time, which is important for grow lights to be durable under consistent use. But excellent deal guys, great packaging and shipping as well.

Great light source
I modified the light to replace 2/2 F40 bulb holders on my seed starting shelves. The lumens from the T5 fixture are 4x what I had, and what a difference. My starts were 3 weeks ahead of what they normally are and about 2x the number of leaves. My tomatoes and peppers all produced flowers while under these lights. I'm going to either pot up from the usual 4" pots or start them later next year. When using 2" seed blocks, growth is almost twice as fast as well. Great light source, well made, solid construction and a very mirror finished reflector. Everything arrived intact and in good working order.

Best price i could find for these grow lights.
I got two of these and really love them. Hung them from the ceiling and planted 6 earth boxes and placed under them. Got the ratchet down rope ties to hang them and also a timer which i set for 12 hours a day. They work beautifully and the plants have been growing like mad. I kept the light about 8 to 10 inches above the plants and that seemed to be the best spot. It is nice to have plants growing during the cold weather!

Nice light but mine arrived dented and bent
Product works well and veggies are really liking it. Box showed up in perfect shape but unit was bent and dented. Seems like it was put in the box damaged at the factory. Not worth sending back but most likely looking at other brands for the next units I purchase. The hanging bracket is fixed wire 'V' shape and will not allow the unit to be pulled up as high as wire hung fixtures. Also both the power switches and cord are close together on one side. I would liked to have the cord run on the back of my shelf but cannot since I need access to the switches. Since the cord is run towards the front it does not look as professional as my other light. The unit works well and puts out quite a bit of light. My bulbs were not damaged as other reviewers but my unit was damaged. Even when hung the fixture bend/dent is obvious. If I purchased at a store I would have definitely brought back for credit or replacement.

DENTED!
This light was dented although it was packed impeccably so don't think it was from shipping, the box was OK. Why would anyone pack a dented product in a box? Not worth sending back but when you spend this much on a light, you expect it to be perfect. It is also quite heavy and will need good supports. Was not prepared and this is delaying my tomato starts because I need to figure out a better hanging system. I'm going to try hanging on a Seville wire rack. Pros: the light is very bright, large area to start lots of seedlings on one shelf, which was my goal.
