Airborne Vintage Herren Cargo Shorts

These shorts are extremely good value, and look way more expensive than the price suggests. I've had trouble finding a good pair of cargo shorts - most of the time the material is too thin and feels like you're wearing a pair of chinos cut in half. I prefer a 'heavier' material for cargo shorts because I find it frames your lower legs better than thin floppy shorts, and these shorts do indeed have that heavier feel to them.The fittings are good quality and the pockets are a good size. I am 5ft 9" tall and ordered a 34" Medium - they fit around the waist perfectly - not too tight and not too loose, and they fall to the perfect length at the knee. Very happy - would certainly buy this brand again.

Third pair of this brand of shorts I have bought and I love the fit and style but the quality of this pair was quite poor. A couple of the press studs on the pockets came off after the first couple of wears and I had to reinforce the stitching in a couple of places. Not really a big deal for me personally, especially with the previous pairs being so good but definitely something to keep in mind when ordering.Edit: So not long after posting this review, the shorts have now ripped and have become unwearable.

Don't look anything like the photograph in real life. Not distressed in any way at all, and the knee and waistband ties are stupidly too long. Material is not very nice either, and not cheap, look elsewhere

At first on receiving the shorts I was pleased , obviously I had to remove the ridiculous draw strings as they are completely in practical.Second time I wore the shorts the inner lining of the right pocket ripped away.Never in my life of owning any form of shorts or jeans have I experienced this.At over £30 quid these are not cheap and absolutely not ever worth the cost.I can't return them as I removed the draw string.But I would seriously hold off reviewing them until you have worn them a few weeks.They are cheap rubbish.

This product is of excellent quality and delivery etc was as stated. However, it did not meet the size expectation. I recently bought a pair of shorts from Cotton Traders which I could get on but were a little tight and when I ordered this pair of shorts I ordered a size larger. When the two pairs are placed together the new shorts are between 4 and 5 cm smaller than the Cotton Traders. I am now very wary of buying clothing off the internet. The sizes listed against various garments range from the sublime to the ridiculous.

Firstly the fit of these cargo shorts were true to size and the material initially felt high quality.By the 2nd day of wear, two of the pocket studs ripped loose from the material. This is by no means major, but it's an obvious design fault and tarnishes your impression of the shorts.These shorts also have drawstring cords for both waist and knees, which are more of a nuisance than anything really useful. I suppose you could just cut them off, I prefer to just tie a small knot and tuck them out of place.However for £32 they're still very good shorts that wash well and have a nice utilitarian look. The selection of colours are also welcome, something rarely found in cargo shorts.All things considered, they're well made despite weak material surrounding studs. The price is about right, and the go anywhere look, is spot on.

Best fit of any shorts I have bought on Amazon, however I did go one size higher than my usual, I'm a big boy, 44 and went for a 46 because I like a bit of room. I wasn't disappointed.Picture of shorts is deceptive, I was worried they would be short shorts, I am 6'3" and they are absolutely the perfect length, reaching to the bottom of my knees.Plenty of room and really hard wearing material.Will be buying more pairs in different colours in the future.Highly recommended.

Love these shorts!Thick, well made and comfortable... so much so have 3 pairs of them now!The button isn't the best, so replace it with a Jeans style button, but took me 30 seconds. And the leg ties irritated me, so pulled them out... but thats just me being picky... over all, Love them!
