Perfect thickness for making journal covers which was in using it for. Very sturdy and glossy when heated through my machine. Had a bit of a plastic smell but that's too be expected of course. Easy to store in the box it's packaged in a week.

The media could not be loaded. This laminator is a total win for home or classroom use. Heats up fast, handles standard 5 mil pouches, and gives a clean, wrinkle-free finish every time. Works great with my amazon basics laminator, no complaints at all! Provides decent protection to all papers I've put through it. It can take some time for the laminator to heat up enough to actually melt the sheet, but besides that, no complaints on speed.
