just right, high quality. I'd pay more for the same product.
I just got it today, so I'll update it there's any unexpected issues. But so far I love it. If it was too be my only knife I might have gone a little bigger. It's not quite a "chopper". It's not heavy, But it's forward weighted just like it looks in the picture. It splits small wood just right, and digs in nicely when cross cutting. I could take down a 2 or 3 in tree with it painlessly. I don't expect my knifes to come sharp. But it did. And that tells me right away that the steel isn't soft. It has that high carbon ring to it, like a skill saw blade. Hollow ground so it has that razor quality to it. It swings right through small vegetation. I just used it to prune my tomatoes in my garden back. And then took out some of the weed maples out back. A half inch sapling didn't slow it down. I'd buy it again in a second.High quality manufacturing for the money. Handle is soft, finely sanded and nicely finished. Very subtle asymmetries indicate it was handmade by a skilled individual with good tools. I'd pay $100 for it in a local store and feel good about it.

A Broad, Stout, Full Tang Outdoor Blade
Pros:-Thick, Full Tang Blade (~1/8" thick)-5" Blade (4.5" edge)-Balanced-Broad Blade (1.5-2" tall)-Beautiful Aesthetic Appeal-Ireland-based Company (according to website: hobbyhutoutlet.com)Cons:-Unfinished burrs in metal between handle scales-"Hh" logo seems to be milled out. Not sure if it'll affect temper/integrity-Sheath's belt loop is small (<1.25")-Made in Pakistan (according to website: hobbyhutoutlet.com)Comments:My initial impression of the knife are generally favorable. I was looking for a blade that is more robust than my Morakniv Companion and BPS-1 (both pictured) but not some cumbersome bushwhacker from the likes of Condor or OKC/RAT/ESEE. Something stout, simple, and solid. Then I came across this Hobby Hut blade in my "bowie knife" search on Amazon. 5", 420C steel, handmade knife that looks similar to high-end custom pieces for a <$25 price point? That was too much value to pass up. I have yet to field test it, but I believe it'll handle some light batoning and other bushcrafting with generally ease.

This is an awesome knife at any price.
1st off. I'm not the type to buy a knife for less than twenty dollars and then disparage it because it doesn't match up to my $300 Knives. This is an nice knife that I just bought again in case I loose one. It's definitely going to become my main outdoor and carry knife. The shape is perfect and the steel seems good. A nice sheath.... which is cool because a lot of knife makers are forgetting to include them now days. This knife is a true bargain which is worth more than your paying...

Good could be better
It’s a solid nice. Priced less than $20.00 is a good bargain. The handle is roughly the same size as a kitchen steak knife. It’s too small for this kind of blade.

Good size, sharp and sturdy
I bought this knife along with a few others after my excellent experience with the Hobby Hut HH-302 knife and I am not disappointed. The knife is comfortable to hold and feels like it will last. It came very sharp and with a holder which fit the knife perfectly (unlike the HH-302). Overall I am impressed with both HH-302 and HH-316 and would recommend them.

Very small & thin handle
Wish the handle was wilder for a firm grip, feels more like a kitchen knife then a survival or hunting knife.

Pretty nice knife. Big blade but the handle is a little small. Very very sharp out of the box. Quality is very good. Nicely put together.fits snug in the sheath. Won't fall out. I. Very happy with the quality\price. Only 4 not 5 stars because of the handle length. Also could really use a finger choil
