HAZARD 4Plan B - Hard Shell Sling Bag, Tactical Camera Bag, Military Modular Webbing

Solid , dependable , lots of attachment points , adaptable , tough material .Not the most comfortable on the back , but it is rigid to save damage to a $2000 setupCompletely trustworthy protection for a DSLR with long lens .For the same price as ThinkTank Turnstyle , LOL . Turnstyle is like a lunch bag .

I use this hard shell bag for my all-around wildlife camera set up for transport. I have a camera with a 200-600mm lens attached; so needed a long, light bag to take on hikes and bike rides. I can quickly unpack the rig to use when i need. It's smaller than my Tenba Cinebag, which I use for travel, since lugging that thing around is a pain. Well designed, decently padded and should do a good job. It could do with a bit thicker padding, other than that, it's fine.

Can't wait to use this for traveling.

It’s an ok bag but it was just too rigid. I can see that it is rigid to protect what is inside of it but that doesn’t translate to a very comfortable bag to carry.If you put any weight in it then it is even worse.

It is a strange bag. It is very deep for DSLR (I tried Canon 6D) and as a result, lots of wasted space. Lenses don’t fit vertically, but waste too much space if placed horizontally. Just poor design. Returned.

My initial impressions of the bag is very high - with a few caveats. The bag seems very well made - and should be for the $$. I like the hard shell, yet feather light feel. The strap is long enough and very comfortable (I'm a very big guy and usually HATE wide straps. This one is really nice). A gripe w the strap is - I wear it at or near the end of its length and I feel the camera ring can slip off. Wish the end was sewn over so there was no way it could come loose. I like that all the other straps can be taken off as I will likely never use them except the tri-pod ones. The small waist strap I will end up cutting off.The inside is nice and perfect size for my camera body (bodies) and a few lenses. I will likely use this for a 70-200, 24-70 and maybe a prime or two. More than enough space for hoods, straps etc.I am a little concerned about the lack of pockets. The removable one is nice but limiting (and being removable means losable! ). We'll see how time goings w this. Lots of padded dividers that feel a lot more substantial than all the other bags I've used.I am a little confused that this zips open from the back (strap) side. That feels a little weird to me as the big strap keeps getting in the way. Maybe I need to get used to it.I think if I were to throw my 2¢ into the design I'd make the inner compartment a tad less deep and have 2 outside pockets for gear (similar to the hardshell one on the soft plan b). This bag is plenty deep enough to split that difference...Over all I am VERY happy w this bag. I'm a sucker for tactical style bags for their robustness, style and versatility and am annoyed that I want to replace my 2 smaller camera bags w Hazard 4's now. lol.We use a lot of larger backpack bags at my job and I will be recommending the company as these feel stronger than the ones we currently use (and we are VERY hard on the bags). I will update after I put this bag through its paces...

・ファースト・レビューバイクツーリングで、機材を可能な限り安全に持ち運ぶためハードシェルでコンパクトなものを探して行き着いた。最初はBOBLBEEのカメラリュックVORTEXを使っていたが、いかんせん重く大きく、気軽さとは程遠い使い心地だった。到着後、早速機材一式（ミラーレス一眼レフと交換レンズ数本）を詰め込み、プチツーリングへ。軍用品を謳うだけあり全体がしっかりとした作りで程よい重量感も有り、走行を妨げるような挙動も無い。撮影時には機材を取り出し背負い直す動作がスムーズに行える。背面から前面に持って来た時に、カメラ用のスリングに多く見かけるカメラのみを取り出す様な機構は無く全体をガバ！っと開ける事になるが、両サイドに落下防止ベルトが有るので機材が落下したりする心配は無い。むしろそういった便利な機能を盛り込まない分全体的に堅牢さが感じられ、信頼性が高いのは目的用途としてプラスだと思う。メインの肩掛だけでは背負っていて多少背中に添わずアンバランスに感じるが、補助ベルト一本でしっくり来る。一応腰ベルトも付属しているが、そこまで必要となる事はない感じ。またサブの荷室にはA5版のツーリングマップルとiPadを入れられる。注意点として数点気になったのは止水ジッパーでは無いため雨の侵入は防げなさそうな感じ。トップシェルのハードポイント用の穴からも水は入り込んで来るだろうから雨天時の対策は別途必要。こういった製品の宿命だが、三脚を取り付けると途端にバランスが崩れる。ツーリング時には特に走行バランスに影響するので、素直にISO感度を上げる方が良いだろう。また、トップシェルは堅牢だが、サイドは厚めのパッドを仕込んでいるとはいえセミハード仕様でBOBLBEE程の堅牢性は無い。コッチも可能なら対策したい（拡張性が高いので、対応は十分可能）全体的に、堅牢なカメラバッグという用途としては充分に完成されているので、ツーリング用途以外でも機材保護目的では最高レベルの逸品だろう。

買って一週間ほどですが工具とかエンジンor電装品の部品とか身の回り品とipadを詰め込んで車に乱暴に投げ込んだり船に転がしたりする頑丈でともすれば工具箱みたいな使い方ができるバッグが欲しくて今までソフトタイプのクーラーボックス使ってたんですが調べておったところこれ見た目いいなと思って購入したんですが、ちょっといまいちな点も多かった。うーん見た目で買っちゃだめだな。まあ使ってるうちに慣れるかなと思ったのですが、今のところあまり慣れない。・いつもリュック片掛けするので合うかなと思ってこの製品でスリングバッグというものを試してみたのですが、かなりひもを締めてもずり落ちて前側にリュック本体が回転してきてしまう。チャリ乗ると100％回転してバランス崩れる。リュック型掛けの方が普通に使いやすい。あと呼吸がしにくい。肩掛けから出ているずり落ち防止ベルトを装着すればいいのですが、軽快さはさらにスポイルされてしまうし、結局普通のリュックを普通に肩にかけた方がずっと安定していると気づいた。スリングバッグが流行らないのが分かった。・成型されたリュックのシェルは固くてiPadを剥き身で入れても何の問題もありませんが、メインの荷物室と書類淹れられる極薄の荷室以外ものを入れる小物入れは一切無いです。理解して買ったつもりだがやっぱり使いにくかった。家の鍵締めた後玄関でこれ横にしてファスナー開けて鍵入れて締めて背負って…みたいな感じのことをやる必要があります。コンビニで小銭入れカバンから取り出すときも同じ。夜真っ暗な駐車場で車のカギ取り出すときも同じ。オプションの小物入れを別に装着すればいいのでしょうが、前述したいまいちな安定性の無さが増すと思います。あとハザード4の小物入れ見たけど高い。しかもどれも使いにくそう。・iPad pro12.9インチでkindle見てますが剥き身で斜めにしないと入らない。保護のためのソフトケースに入れてるともう斜めにしても入らない。ベルクロで荷室分けて使うのでメインの場所に工具詰めてるともう入らない。iPadは小さいやつしか入らないです。あとファスナーの位置関係的に雑に出し入れすると中のものがゴチャアとなるしiPad落ちる。一回車のトランクから出すときアスファルトに落としかけた。・どの方向からも自立しません。自立しないのでいろんな場所が床に付きますがゴミ一杯付きますしいて言えば背負ったとき背中から見えるオモテ側が一番床に接しますがゴミ一杯付く面がオモテに来ます。あとこれカメラ用バッグと銘打ってますが自分カメラも少し触りますがこれだと35mm単焦点のミラーレスで他のレンズ無いぐらいの荷物でも絶対使いにくいぞ。望遠とか落としそう結局ガパアっと開くケースはソフトタイプのクーラーボックスが最強ということがわかりました。まあ見た目は良いのでたまに使うけど、普段使いは厳しいiPad proがぎりぎりでしか入らないのが悲しいですね。横幅をあと2-3センチ増やせばいいだけなんですけどよくわからない構造ですね。入ればもう少し評価が高くなるんですが。
