I cannot put into words what this book says to you and to me. It's message must be heard! Every Christian, every Pastor and every evangelist should read this book and absorb it's message, not only of sin's insidiously destructive power, but of the loving mercy and forgiveness that only comes from meeting Jesus and allowing his healing power to be unleashed upon all the damage done. Jesus saved an entire family as Ruth so honestly and poignantly writes. She doesn't hold back and for this reason it is not an easy read. The range of emotions you will encounter reading this is wide. Get this book, read this book and share this book! God bless you dear Ruth for being so open and honest with us. May this book reach every hurting soul and bring the healing touch so many so desperately need today.

Fasten your seatbelt because this testimony is a rollercoaster that takes off like a rocket with enough force that causes your heart to immediately plummet down into your abdomen. “Strength In Scars” rapidly takes you on a tumultuous journey with twists, turns, hills, and valleys with more of the unexpected waiting beyond the next horizon. 😳 You may find yourself asking when will all of the challenges end, and when the Lord will show up. 🕊 But as you turn the pages and realize the testimony is about to come to an end, you may find yourself slowing down because you do not want it to end. I can't wait to finish reading this book. I just can't stop but I need to read after all my responsibility at home are done. I'm a single mom of two boys and this book speaks my language. I'm a victorious women who is aware of the general curses that I've rebuked and continue to fight for my kids and their children children. I'm so grateful and believe my calling is also defending these victims. I thought my situation was the weirdest one but I ain't the only one. I now know I have authority to cast out those generational curses out and to break the chains of torment.

I got the book. And BOY what a powerful message. First of all there is NO way I can imagine the horrors this woman went thru. A incredible account of someone who not only survived but only could do it thru God and perseverance. I urge others to KNOW that with God all things are indeed possible. We are never alone and Ruth's journey proves that. Some of this is difficult to imagine anyone going thru but to come out victorious is a great thing.

This book is life changing. If you or a loved one has experienced abuse, this is an absolute must read. Ruth Almada has shared her extremely personal and tragic story, and her journey with Christ, to help those of us who are lost, angry, and exploited. Her story is inspiring, in that it shows with Christ, the path towards forgiveness is possible. What an inspiration! With Christ ALL things are possible. Thank you Ruth Almada for having the courage to share.
