As a professional artist I have used tracing paper for years to sketch first then trace my own initial drawings! Professionals “think” with tracing paper. You sketch on the tracing paper because it is thin enough to see thru when you put your final paper over it using a lightbox (or a bright window).My granddaughter just became interested in drawing and of course she was erasing a lot. I got her this tracing paper and showed her the benefits of sketching on it then taping it to a window and putting her nicer paper on top, taping it too, then lightly tracing her final sketch onto the nice paper. She loves it! She had drawn a horse and got it too far to the edge of the tracing paper, so when she copied the drawing to her nice paper she was able to center the horse on the paper and was thrilled.This is excellent quality paper for professionals or anyone. It takes pencils, ink, and markers (with no bleed thru).

Used this paper for making custom gift tissue paper. Such an easy way to elevate your gift with personalization. The weight of the paper was heavy enough for what I need and light enough to perfectly peaking out of my gift bag. Easy to print on. Very durable. It is slightly transparent as it should be but worked beautifully for this project. It’s white and the print shows up so cute. People raved about the custom tissue paper.

I bought it to practice lettering. It has definitely worked well. It is very poorly attached to the cover, though, it came apart on the first use.

I use this to trace hand lettering worksheets. It is the most inexpensive tracing paper I have found that already comes in the 8.5x11.5 size (besides those huge rolls that you need to cut to size yourself). Each sheet comes out to about 6 cents while others can be anywhere from 9-15 cents. Because of the price it isn’t the smoothest compared to other brands but is by no means rough and has not frayed any of my brush pens. It is also not as transparent as the more expensive tracing paper brands (these look a little cloudier if that makes sense) but since I’m literally using them one time and throwing it away it’s really not an issue. I use a LED table lamp which makes it easier to see through the paper. Don’t plan on ever using a different brand of tracing paper unless they go on sale.
