Motorcraft YG360 Vacuum Checking Switch

Tried a check valve from the local stores and wasnt happy with how it was closing, took to much pressure to shut, this one however is very sensitive and ended up closing and holding closed, very good. Works well to fix the HVAC system in a vehicle having vacuum issues holding the duct doors open under acceleration. Used on a dodge this part is universal, but good ford part.

My IWEs were making a lot of noise, even after wheel bearings and actuators were replaced (they were also bad). I put a Dorman one on and it didn’t fix anything. Before I started replacing other parts I ordered this and it fixed the grinding noise. It’s been 3 weeks now and still no noises. Try this OEM one FIRST!!!

I was having an issue on my 2015 F-150 with the front hubs not totally disengaging which could cause grinding noise especially when turning. I found online that this vacuum switch was most likely the culprit so for $8 I ordered one to give it a shot. The purpose of it is to allow air to flow one direction but block it going the other to hold in the vacuum.On the new one I tried this out sucking on one end which allowed air and then the other way which allowed nothing. Once pulling out the old one I did the same test. Ok on the side which is supposed to let air through but on the other side it was only partially blocking the air which would keep the vacuum from being as strong as it should be.Went for a test drive after swapping it out and all seemed good.

This was verified to fit my engine, though the outlet tube is a larger size than OEM. The inlet tube is the same. On my engine, both tubes are the same diameter.I was easily able to press it in, and I used a small tie wrap to make sure it stays in place. I am concerned the hose will split some day, but there's plenty of flex, and I know I can just trim it slightly and shove it back on. I'll find the proper fit... eventually :)It does work perfectly, and my air is cold and consistent.

If your 2007 Explorer is blowing cold air out the defroster vents instead of the dash vents, replace this. located on the firewall on passenger side. These check valves somwhow "go bad" and stop holding vaccum.

Aside from the colour this looks exactly like the OEM check valve on a 13th gen F-150.Installation was dead simple and took maybe 30 seconds. Make sure you orient it the right way.

Funcionó para una f150 1999, cómo sustituto de la válvula check de vacío que usa el sistema de 4x4, solo hay que adaptar un poco la manguera donde se conecta está válvula ya que uno de los lados es más grande que la pieza original pero cumple con la función correctamente.
