JERDONTwo-Sided Makeup Mirror with Lights - Vanity Mirror with 3X Magnification & Glare-Free Lighting - White Base - Model J1010

I have been using this makeup Mira for years and years. You used to be able to get bulbs for it. But I don't think you can anymore, it's not expensive. It's a great light and it's small. I didn't want to those big portrait mirrors. Anyway I love it.

This mirror is very bright and i like how it has the 3 times magnification on one side of the mirror and then the 1 times magnification on the other side of the mirror. The ligting does have a yellow tint to it and it does get hot very quickly but i was looking for a mirror with yellow lighting as weird as that sounds because i noticed my makeup turns out better with it because it is brighter then most lights and the fact it get's hot very quickly does not bother me because it does not take me long to put my makeup on. The feel of this mirror is hollow and plastic and it is very small the only things that slightly bother me are thoughs. But you get what you pay for and i have not been able to locate recplacment bulbs for it online at all but i will just call the number it came with when i need them or i will just go into batterys plus with one of the bulbs and i'm sure they will have it. I would recomend this product if you do not mind the cons in it that i just listed and i would more then likely purchase this again and from this seller again unless i found one cheaper that had better reviews.

I have used this type of make-up mirror for years! Love the design and two-sided mirror. Easy to obtain the light bulbs.

I obviously love this make up mirror by my title!!! I had one that was very much like this and it as manufactured by Windmere. It broke last year when I went to Europe. Even with an adaptor the electric blew on the mirror. I looked and looked for a replacement. I went to my local Ulta store and they carried this mirror by Jerdon, but they were sold out for the holidays, so I turned to AMAZON and was thrilled to find this mirror! The delivery time was very prompt!!!!After my Windmere mirror broke I purchased another make up mirror that was 2.5 times the cost and side view mirrors and different settings for light. I DID NOT LIKE the new mirror. Too bulky to pack and too neavy to pick up and hold in one hand while I put on my mascara. The mirror by Jerdon I can use and pick up easliy to put on my mascara, the lighting is bright and I LOVE IT!!! The mirror is small enough to pack and IT DOES NOT TAKE UP SO MUCH COUNTER SPACE!!!!I was so thrilled to find the product that I purchased two of them!!!i am sure that you will not be disappointed!!!!

I have had this in the past and like it a lot it has a full size regular & full size magnifier. these types are very hard to find. Only issue I have had in the past is finding the frosted bulbs to replace.

I had one of these mirrors for many years. After it broke, I tried to find something with comparable brightness and have been unsatisfied with any of the LED options. Went back to this one and I never want to be without it again.

This is my second model of this mirror I’ve purchased in the last 3 years and soon to be purchasing my third in a few minutes since this time my second model only lasted 6-7 months. My 1st model was great, and lasted 2 1/2 years with some minor discrepancies hear and brightness glitches and just 2 re -orders of bulb replacements required.Yes -The light bulbs can be a bit too bright and even feel hot on the face for some people, but for me when the lights were on at the appropriate brightness they were meant to be at, and I placed the mirror a reasonable distance away from my eyes and face so that I wasn’t 1 inch away from staring into the bulbs and seeing colors, that this mirror has still come out for the second and now third time to be my favorite from others I’ve tried. (Which have been the other two models of the jerdons mirrors, Conairs, impressions etc).I did experience some minor glitches in my opinion with the light bulbs, where some at times would surge out before the others or suddenly it seems the voltages between the four bulbs are completely off making it that one is so bright out of nowhere that it blurs that eyes vision for a few seconds but a tap on top of the bulb always made it go back to normal, So sometimes it just needs a little rest from being on for longer periods of time and to cool down from the excess heat created by the bright bulbs.When this Happens to me I also sometimes will simply unscrew the bulb if its become to bright and take out another bulb on the alternate side to make the lighting of the remaining bulbs evenly balanced, and usually when I put the bulbs back in they’re back to normal functioning brightness .My first model also unfortunately somehow heated the bulbs up so hot on two or 3 occasions that the metal chamber surrounding where the light bulbs are held began to melt away so that we notOnly smelt it burning but we began to see it slowly melting in the corners.So Are the light issues being too bright or too hot a setback? For some perhaps it is, but I still always come back to this mirror because of the great lighting it does provide for me when doing my skincare and makeup application, its portable sizing and durability, its easy placement by countertop and flexibility of where I can use it, lightweight for travel, and it’s mirrors aren’t distorted I’m any way and provide a crystal clear 1x sided mirror with an easy flip to a rational 5x side zoom for not a super scary close up of every particle on your face like the 10x mirrors, but just enough for this happy customer!Otherwise, my only real concern was when the model actually had the bulbs melting it to pieces, but I would of course recommend to NOT leave the mirror plugged and on longer than necessary, don’t forget to unplug or turn off the mirror when not using it for a short break once in a while, or are done with it completely for the day.

Love this mirror! Positives 1. Size: Not big and bulky, small countertop footprint. 2. Doesn't detract from decor: Looks very stylish & modern unlike the clunky make-up mirrors of the 80's that I knew. 3. There is a switch on the cord to turn the light off/on. 4. Metal stand as opposed to plastic. Hmmm: 1. The bulbs are exposed (not behind plastic) so I will see if dust collects or how it cleans up.2. The light setting is a warm lighting. The coloring seems like it is on a night setting (ie: day, home, night).3. I can feel the heat from the 4 bulbs.I still want to give it a 5 because this is all I need, and it is so cute.

When I purchased this I knew it would be 110v as it was intended for use in the US.However I had planned to change the plug to a UK 13a plug and replace the lamps with 240v lamps. The problem is the Edison screw on the lamp is not available in UK (or at least i have not been able to find them).So the item is of no use to me, disappointing as it was a Christmas gift for my wife.John McAuley

Could cause a fire with the Wiring!I have three of these mirrors and owned two prior ( that wires started to blacken) my only issue is the cord coming out of the mirror is in a awkward spot as if you wind the cord around the mirror to store eventually the cord comes apart and wires pull out from inside and burn no matter how careful or loosely you try to avoid this it will pull apartPlease share with maker that’s why l ordered three because of this problem l am extremely careful could cause a fire but l need the mirror to see putting on makeup

waste of moneyit is 110v not 240 v so cannot use it. it was advertised on amazon uk site so think theyshould have specified this
