Just what I needed

(Note: I cannot read music, I need tabs. If you can read music, disregard this review)I was super excited to see this book and the songs listed. I though "Hey! That would be amazing to be able to play those songs on the banjo!" I was thinking about going to campfires with my family and whipping out "Hotel California"; one of the favs of the fam. The reality is, this book is in no way "Fun & Easy!" the tabs are for intermediate players with LONG fingers. I am a girl with smaller hands and there is NO WAY I can make certain formations, my fingers are not long enough!. Also, there are certain places in the song where there is no tabs, only music. Am I just supposed to strum a chord for that measure? No clue. All in all, this book is a great idea but I need to learn to read music if I want to play with proficiency.

This is the second book I bought by this publisher, hoping I would eventually be able to do at least one song. My teacher says I am intermediate, but I still cant play a single song out of either of these books.
