Ignore the added "arguments" and Synopsis" at front of every chapter.
Great read. I Definitely realize that Servetus does not fall into any of the typical "anti-trinity" camps. Not by a long shot. He presents a very coherent objection that avoids all the standard pitfalls of modulism, arianism etc. I see clearly why the devil had to orchestrate Servetus's execution.Only thing I didn't like is that the translator inserted "argument" and "synopsis" sections in front of every chapter. I read this book to learn what Michael Servetus believed about the Trinity doctrine, not what the translator believed. And I think the two are significantly different. I highly recommend ignoring the argument and synopsis paragraphs as they alter the historical perspective. I do not yet know if the translation is accurate, but nothing obvious stood out on the surface. While the translator Wilbur Morse is clearly a Unitarian (even though of the conservative side) it is not wise to stretch Morse's Unitarian theology over what Michael Servetus actually taught. These are very different ideaologies. Servetus definitely argues against Trinity doctrine, but he is in no way the foundation of Unitarianism. I think it's important to distinguish these apart from each other to avoid conflation. Otherwise people are going to miss an incredible treatise, for fear of being associated with Unitarianism. I appreciate that Morse translated this book, but he struggled keeping his personal theology out of it. So again I say, just ignore the argument and synopsis portions and I think you'll have an eye opennning read.

A MUST Read! Blew me away!
An incredible republishing if Serveres’ work on the Trinity. I had read “Out Of The Flames”, which peaked my interest. This is amazing biblical based history of the early workings of the church and some very interesting perspectives and clarifications about the Trinity that I’ve never heard. It is a MUST READ if you are serious about the Bible.

Excellent translation with notes.
This paper back edition of the translated works of Michael Servetus is a must have for the Historian of Christian Church history. The text itself is modestly bound, but acceptable in terms of printing quality.
