HGC Precision Yellow 0.030" Test Indicator 0. 0005" GR Dial Reading 0-15-0 New

The dial is a lot smaller than a normal sized dial. However it trammed my LMS mill vice perfectly. I didn't need a high dollar Starrett test indicator for this function. I would absolutely suggest this item for this purpose. Very happy with purchase.

I wouldn’t use it on anything that has less than .005 tolerances but for something like keying a non critical drive shaft it gets the job done

This is a really good for the money test indicator. It appears reasonably accurate. If your livelihood depends on instruments like this, spend the money and get the good ones. If you're a weekend warrior like me, I think you will be happy. It's dirt cheap. I will likely order another in case this one takes a poo

For the price well worth it. Gets the job done. Yes it cheap but from experience the expensive ones are just as fargile and hundred dollars and up. Would buy again.

On a 5 though indication the part is 7. At 15 thou, it is actually 20. THe indicator is horribly inaccurate.Sure it will show a trend.. its X off each way.. if centering etc.. but the amount its off is unacceptable.

I use this indicator for my hobby machining projects it dose the job.

My expectations were very low but it's a useable test indicator. The 5 rating is for the price. It's not like I had to lay out $300 for a Starret .
