This is an excellent kit! You get all you need to start you off. I have used many other beard products and I just keep coming back to Viking Revolution. It keeps my beard manageable, soft and clean. This stuff is a must for anyone with a beard. Oh if you have the beard itch, this will cure all of that while making your whiskers as healthy as they've ever been. I had been looking for a good beard oil my wife got me this kit, and it was amazing the oil is good quality smells good. The beard balm is also high quality and stays in for all day moisture and comfort no more itchy beard. The brush is soft enough on skin but firm enough to get the strays the comb is good quality wood all from one piece of wood no need to worry about it breaking on you wish it was longer though like a a hair comb but over all great kit to get started. Going to be restocking this product very soon.

The customer service is what saved this review. Viking Revolution really do stand behind their product.The balm - smells good but far too greasy for my needs.The shampoo - leaves my beard VERY dry. Maybe it is supposed to do that as a stripping shampoo? I don't know. It does smell very good though and a little goes a long way. If my beard is very dirty this is what I will use as it seems to strip everything out of my beard.Conditioner. - smells good but it seems way under powered. My beard doesn't feel soft after using. Definently needs reformulated imo.The oil - I really like the oil. It smells great. Has a dropper. Makes my beard feel soft. I think the scent compliments the Honest Amish balm scent quite nicely.The comb- great little starter comb. It's too small for my beard unfortunately (teeth arent long enough) but I still use it on occasion. For shorter beards it would be perfect.The kit - overall this is a decent kit for the newcomer. And since VR stands behind their products you can't go wrong. If you don't love it send it back . Would be a perfect gift set. If you have any issues just email the company and they will help with any questions or make any issues right.For balms I've tried Honest Amish, Wahl, and a few different ones from Walmart and Sally Beauty Supply. So far Honest Amish is the best balm.
