I struggled for awhile trying to fit the Midea support bracket into my window. There just weren't holes where I needed them to be, and the spaces between the holes were too large. I couldn't make the support bracket fit. This one saved the day. It was so much easier to put together and fit level into the window. I don't have water leaking and the air conditioner is working great. Also, this bracket is very sturdy. It will take a lot of weight. However, the rear of the portion that sits outside the window is quite long and I couldn't shorten it as much as I would have liked to. Still, I think it's great. It was worth spending the money for.

Incredibly happy with this purchase. Using a window AC and having it be right above cars in the parking lot is terrifying. To the point that I just had the window AC more inside my window (dealing with leakage) until I got this. Until I got this!!! Even at first I was weary, but it proved super reliable and sturdy!! Even with squirrels and birds landing on my unit, never failed. Super easy to install and custom fit to my window size. Felt such security with this product. And it never rusted or anything, after multiple years of use. Thank you!!

The unit is constructed well and sturdy. Assembly was straight forward however they do include some extra hardware that could confuse some people.I was working with a small window that was exactly 22" across. I am pleased to report this fit my window without any modifications. It was a very tight fit requiring a little persuasion with a rubber mallet but it went in.The point of the install for me was to prevent the A/C from falling out if my 100lb. German Shepherd jumped and pressed his feet on it while trying to look out the window above the A/C. He already knocked one A/C out this year. There was no support behind the A/C. Thankfully the A/C did not extend to the end of the supports so I was able to mark where the end of the A/C was and then install some L brackets on the supports that prevent the A/C from sliding out of pressure is applied on the front.I knew for my install I'd have to make some modifications however this was a solid foundation for the project and the end results were worth it.

Easy and fast to install and holds up in bad weather. This took the stress off my window and gave me peace of mind when I have to walk under the AC outside.

Seemed bit expensive for something so simple, but it works well and is solidly built. I feel very confident with my heavy AC installed that it has the support it needs to be safe. The bulk of the weight of the AC I have sits outside the window frame, which always made me feel like I could easily drop it out the window when installing. With this support in place, the AC is now a breeze to install as it has a solid base on which to rest. Feels much more safely secured than relying only on the window itself.

I have a HUGE window (4 feet wide) I needed to install this in and took a chance. Replaced the sliding brace pieces with 2x0.75 inch square tubing 4 foot lengths attached together to make one 1.5x0.75 rectangle tube. Unit is rock solid. My AC is only 70 pounds, but because the window is so wide I didn't want to put all the weight on the window frame and risk bending it. One assembled the unit is solid. It seems janky at first, but reserve your judgement until it's fully assembled. Honestly felt easier to install than a unit sans bracket because I didn't have to be so ginger with the window frame.Obviously your mileage may vary if you want to use this on a wide window, but I made it work and it seems fine.

This device is great. It is easy to install and requires no drilling or screws and so leaves no unsightly holes around the window

I measured everything and thought it would fit, but I think it was like half an inch too small to fit correctly on my window. Ended up returning because of that, but it was constructed well and I would have kept it if it had fit. Easy to put on the window and had a neutral look. The pins for adjusting the arms weren't completely stable. A few times they popped out of place and I had to take it apart to put them back in.
