This kit is Perfect!. Everything, it's a perfect match for my Yamaha 150 outboard. This kit takes care of part of the annual maintenance on the lower end. Will be buying again for sure. Highly recommend to anyone that needs OEM maintenance parts for their Yamaha outboards.

Parts are good but for my 2000 Yamaha 150 two stroke I had a tough time removing the metal ring that is over the drive shaft. Damaged it and the plastic ring and had to buy the replacements separately. Also be aware the lower unit must be in neutral when reinstall onto motor. In neutral the prop turns but not the shaft. You can shift using pliers on the shift rod on lower unit. Not all Youtube vids show this. Good luck.

Works as advertised. I would give five stars except for the following issue. The kit has all the major components but the metal capture collar that holds the impeller in place. I had to travel to a Yamaha dealer to get a new retainer collar kit which defeated the purpose of ordering online. The mechanic told me it is about a 90% chance the old one will be damaged even if the dealer is doing the work. This kit should contain a new collar/bushing.

All of the parts were here EXCEPT you have to order the plastic pump housing separately. Make sure to check the old one before you dig into this project as it will show overheating damage easily by design.Anyways, I used everything in this kit and the motor is much cooler

It was installed last year with no adverse issue to report.

I'm not a mechanic, but I learned how to perform the replacement by watching a couple youtube videos. most people could easily learn it the same way. for parts of the operation, it would be easier with two people (lifting and lining up parts). start to finish only takes me about 1.5 hours. I would note that it does not include the flat and wave washers, nor the bushing and collar that go on top of the impeller. If those parts come off ok and can be reused, fine. If not, though, they must be ordered separately.
