    A wonderfully informative book, but not worth its excessively high price

A very interesting and informative read for fans of the film. My only criticism is that, for a relatively short softcover book, I think it’s $30 pricetag is awfully expensive. If you’re inclined to purchase it, I would advise that you wait for it to be more heavily discounted, like I should have.

Interesting book about one of the great films of the 1980's. I would have preferred less information about the film's background, and more analysis. The Hitcher is richly saturated in meaning, and I felt the author could have explored it more deeply, especially as a ritual of initiation.

Bought it because i really liked the movie and was always a fan of the series, but the first half of the book was filled with loads of bullcrap about the movie and then the story line that was badly explained.Litterally If i knew this i would've not even bought it in the first place, would even decline if it was free tbh.Basically way over priced in the first place, and then bunch on horsecrap the follows.
