DEE ZEEDZ71 Brite-Tread Aluminum Topsider Tool Box

Ordered these for my work truck. I had been looking around for a long time and finally decided on these tool boxes. I have a long bed with a rack. For ease of use since I have a truck bed I installed these upside down and added door shocks so they would stay open. Shocks were about $25 and took about 1.5 hours to install and worth it.

Boxes came dented, sounds like other people have the same problem. They need better shipping.Also, each box has 2 locks. Guess what? They are each keyed differently! That means I have 4 locks and need 4 damn keys to lock them! I'm going to call DeeZee and hope they send me matching locks. I spent alot of money and was expecting better. I really need them and won't be returning, just hope manufacturer grows a pair for future buyers.Update May 2015: DeeZee did send me locks so now I'm down to 2 keys, one per side.Unfortunately, they leak when it rains, will call DeeZee, hopefully they know why. I dropped from 3 stars to 2 because of this issue.

Fantastic tool box. Arrived in perfect shape. Very heavy duty box, almost to heavy to lift. Installed in under 1 hour. Was able to reclaim my trucks back seat and box space by putting all of my tools in this. Latches well, locks work great. Having the tool box up on the fender takes up no space in the truck box. This box is also taller and deeper than others on the market which is perfect for larger tools, totes, small compressors, everything I use each day.

The Boxes arrived earlier than expected but were left out in the rain all day by FedEx! They didn't ring the Bell or even knock on the Door.Good thing they were not damaged or were the wrong ones because the CardBoard was ruined. Beyond that they seem to be well constructed. The doors open and close fine the Handle latches need to be adjusted to latch tighter no biggy. I was not awhere that they only latch in the center and do not come with Bar Latches to each side. I wish that they opened beyond 90 degrees the Boxes are huge with huge Doors thats a pretty far reach with heavy tools. We'll see how it is once I get them on and use them. All in all I like them and think they will work just fine. I would recommend them. They provide alot of storage at a good Price.

This is the second time that we have had to return them and they are defective... (not from shipping) doors are not on correctly and other things. NOT happy with them and we are waiting to return again. I am hoping that the saying the third time is a charm works. They are not cheap and we do not want defective boxes on our trucks. Thank you.

I purchased two of these boxes for my new work truck each of them are at least 3/4 of an inch rack one box did not have chains the other box had dents and no lock coverage will never do it again

These are great boxes. I got 2 both was damaged from the factory. The seller took care of it and made everything right.

I'm really happy w them! I like the size the most & there's nothing that I didn't like!
