Bring On The Music - Live at The Capitol Theatre

A standout Mule live album despite minor flaws!
I have a bunch of live Mule albums, and I must say this one of the best! The whole band is firing on all cylinders throughout, and the material is fantastic, with a sizeable portion of it consisting of relatively rare and new gems that you haven’t heard them play a million times lol! And I mean good ol’ hard rockin’ tunes, not limp softer stuff and reggae. Ok maybe some of that is fine for a change of pace, but the band definitely does NOT rest on its laurels here despite them being no spring chickens anymore (neither am I) lol!Another reviewer mentioned crowd noise, and that is indeed a very valid complaint here. And we’re not talking about the crowd’s response to the music, which is always great to hear in a live album (and there IS plenty of that here too), but I mean very clearly hearing the audience in the front rows having conversations with each other during the quieter tunes...they sound about as loud as Warren singing lol! How embarrassing for the band...there they are, playing their hearts out for the fans, and assumably the biggest ones closest to the stage be like, “So, where did you buy that shirt?” “What did you have for lunch today?” Lol!Also, the sound quality is good enough, but it could have been a little better...more closely mic’d, maybe? Using more unidirectional mics to shut out more of the front rowers might have helped lol! However, the music and performance of it here more than make up for those two minor gripes. Their performance of "Time To Confess" here is absolutely jaw-dropping in its intensity...by far their best rendition I have ever heard, and quite possibly the most intense and exciting jam from this great band on record...absolutely amazing! What a breath of fresh air amidst the smoggy and filthy fake music all over the pop charts these days...HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for all Mule fans and fans of REAL MUSIC in general (those of us who are still left, anyway)!!

Mule is a great studio band but always better live. They are the best JAM BAND since the Allman Brothers Band. After 25yrs and as good as ever

Gov't Mule Bring on the Music : Live at the Capital Theatre .
I have the Blu Ray version of this great Gov't Mule live performance and the double Disc is just as good except the Blu Ray sounds a bit better , The live Album consisting of some of the Mules best songs with the band well in tune together and Warren Haynes playing awesome guitar , first CD consisting of 11 great tracks and 79 minutes long , As for the second Disc : 10 great live tunes and 78 minutes long .

Good quality vinyl pressing
Good qualiy pressing. I'm not going to review the music because it is purely subjective suffice it to say the vinyl plays well with no noise.
