Great headlights but throw the directions away!
These are great headlights, very cool and bright have gotten lots of compliments. They are pretty easy to install as long as you do not follow the directions...they were atrocious, it just requires some simple wiring. I will walk you through the steps, I have a F150 so if you have a different vehicle the steps might be a little different but the wiring should be the same. First, using a phillips head remove the backsplash guard on the inside of the headlight then there are three 10mm screws you need to undo, 1 on top and 2 on the side that are revealed once the backsplash is removed. Then just pop out the headlight, there is a clip on top to do that. The high beam and low beam are just plug and play but you will need to wire the halo/led into one of the running lights do this to the small bulb that is mostly likely sitting on the outside(note; you can do this to the bigger running light bulb that also has the turn signal included but its easier to do it to the small one.) Now you need to remove all the electric tape on the wire running to the small bulb as you are going to need to splice those 2 wires (note; these wires should be brown and black). Once you have removed the tape to the smaller running light cut the brown and black wire about 3 to 4 in from the bulb. Strip back about have an inch from both wires. Now is the part where you would need to use a volt meter to determine which wire is positive but I'm going to tell you so you won't need to bother(black is negative and brown is positive in this case, again different manufacturer may be different color). Now take both ends (the end coming from the bulb and the end coming from the truck) of the black wire that you just cut and wire nut them together with all of the black wires coming from the headlight (there should be 4 coming from the headlight) you may want to wrap some electrical tape around the wire nut and wire to keep it secure. Now take the 2 brown wires and wire nut them together with all of the whites and reds coming from the headlight as these are your positives( there should be 2 reds and 2 whites coming from the headlight) and again repeat the electrical tape step. Now all you have to do is reattach the headlight to the truck by bolting the screws back in. And again different trucks maybe a little different but the wiring should be the same I just wanted to post this because the instructions are awful. I hope this helps if you have any further questions feel free to ask me and I will do my best.

Well worth the money
I installed these in a few hours on my 07 ford f150. They definitely add flare to the truck and make it seem almost new. I did not keep the original lights or the lights they sent, instead I opted to get all led replacements as some of the review stated they weren't that bright, and my originals were dull as well. They are way brighter with leds and look awesome. They is rewiring but it's very simple to do. My suggestion is, if you're going to put in the time and money go the extra and get led lights. Reflector little bulb 194, turn signal 3157, low beam 9007, high beam h1. The upgrade is definitely worth it. If you search these numbers with led lights there are plenty here on Amazon.

Read before buying!
This will be my true honest review. After 4 weeks in use.1)price for the headlights 2 stars.Reason,if I pay for headlights over 2bills should come with LED light bulbs hi/lows or the option for them. My opinion.2) Looks from the outside 4 stars. Reason, Great modern look! Sharp looking, with clear view of halos and led light bulbs.3) Visibility 2 stars! Reason, this is my fault as I bought the (smoked) ones bad choice. It was a down grade from OEM! With the lows on only! And that's after I paid for 12,000 lumens LED lows. Hard to see in city driven. Highs on, Great 4 stars with the best visibility down the road. I did get LED light bulbs. Halos are not that bright.4)overall 3 star, Easy installation, no aftermarket light bulbs have to use OEM's. Yes I would recommend them, but not in smoked black. And be ready to drop around a bill (100)for LED hi/lows side markers. And turning signals. Order them in clear. I had my driver side already have condensation in it. Amazon did give me a refund so I'm ordering them in clear now.

Happy with the looks and style
Bought these for my sons birthday in July. Happy with the looks and style. Easy install. Son was really excited. The seal must have gone out on the passenger side, it now fogged up and holding water. This causes a real safety concern because the visibility is horrible at night. $200 for 4 months cool looking headlights is an expensive effect. Hoping to find a resolution soon.Spyder Auto Ford F150 Version 2 Black Halogen LED Projector Headlight

The instructions are horrible but it's not that hard to figure out
These things look sharp but the install is a little bit of pain simply due to the amount of wires coming out of the back. The instructions are horrible but it's not that hard to figure out... I applied silicon RTV around the entire housing (hidden by the truck body when installed) just to ensure no moisture gets in the light housing. Install took me about 2-3 hours only because I took my time but it could be installed in about an hour if you understand basic wiring.Aftermarket LED Lighting: I tried to buy LED lighting to look cool for the top (turn signal) and the side (parking lights) however the LED's (I tried two types) from AutoZone and both did not have enough resistance to keep the signals from flashing super quick so I went back to normal bulbs. Too bad because the LED's would have looked awesome.Wiring:Splice all the RED & WHITE wires together and then splice all of the black wires together on the back of each light. Splice the RED/WHITE wiring into the Brown wire (middle) of the turn signal wires. Wire the BLACK wiring into the BLACK wire on the turn signal wiring. I chose not to wire in the LED bars under the 3 LED lights as I didn't like the way they looked (See pictures).
