Dress it up
I originally bought an off the shelf 14' jon boat cover for my PA14. I used it for about a year but never was happy with it. It did not fit or stay on properly. I thought the price of the HOBIE cover was kind of high. Like all the HOBIE stuff it is high but you get what you pay for. This is a heavy duty, well made cover that fits like a glove. It even looks snappy, made with cream colored material and red lettering. Makes my boat look good even on the trailer. When you spend this much money on a boat don't dress it down with a cheap cover.

Good fit
Good product. Only comment is the front has to be slipped over, which for me takes some effort because I keep the kayak on a trailer.otherwise great fit, good looking. Does the job.

Hobie quality
i was reluctant to spend this much on a cover but the product is very nice. Fits my PA14 perfect and i hope it will last. Still not sure it isnt overpriced for what it is but if it last i guess my opinion will change

Fits like a glove
Great cover for the PA14. Lots of connections to snug up cover for transport or storage. Nose first cover creates a challenge when I am trying to apply cover and yak is on trailer. Glad I got it.

Amazing
I keep my pro angler in my garage and use this cover. It says not to uses in transport but this cover is amazing. Have used it to travel on the highway 191 miles one way, with my angler fully loaded and this cover did not disappoint. Be sure to use the extra bungie loops on the cover. With all that in place, there was no ballooning and no fraying so far. I have about 500 highway miles on this cover, in rain and sunshine and it's still in new condition.

Not durable -- rip at the seam
I loved this kayak cover for my PA14. It allowed me to keep most of my kayak rigged and away from the weather and prying eyes. Unfortunately I took it on a long trip this spring and the rear-left seam now has a 9" rip. I'd used the cover for about a year. For the price paid I do expect more than 12 months from a cover. Now I need to figure out how to repair it. Fun.

Perfect fit.
Replaced the old one that lasted 4 years in the Florida sun. Good product for the money.

Fabric only lasts a couple of years outside
Very well constructed and fits perfectly and securely. However the materials are not very UV resistant. Mine has started to rot out after two years in a partly sunny area.
