My 3.5 year old has been eating these for about 2 years now. He loves them. I just started giving them to my 14 month old daughter who has a lot of teeth already. In fact, so did my son. If your kids don't already have a lot of their back teeth in, I'd probably wait before giving them these and use a liquid only brand. But, once they are able to chew things effectively, I'd highly recommend these. The gelcap is a bit chewy as it's just gelatin but I like that it doesn't have any sugar and just has a slight citrus scent. My son really likes them; in fact, I have to cut him off most days.

In my searching, this is the highest dose of DHA per child-friendly chewable tab, at the best price I've been able to find. My girls have been eating these for several years and think they are like candy.One small caution from experience -- if the child bites these in half, rather than chewing the whole fish at one time, the oil can squirt across the table and make a small mess. like any good parent would, I tasted these before I gave them to my son. They aren't chewy gummies. These are more like soft capsules that burst in your mouth and then the capsules itself feels hard and rubbery like something you should be spitting out. Flavor wise I'd describe it as a citrus flavored trout. Has a strong fish flavor that would be hard to eat again. But the worst part was the fishy burps that followed. I would not recommend these for kids.

This was the highest amount of omega 3 that I could find in a kids supplement. I love that it's not sugary like some of the others. It comes in a fish shape so we call them baby shark gummies. My kids ask for these every day.

The flavor is great and my daughter still loves it...but wondering what is up with the casing it is in? I have my daughter spit it out after sucking out the oil because the casing is so hard and definitely not fun to chew. Not returning it because she loves the flavor of it...and all I really want her to get is the oil inside of it anyway.

I love and appreciate that this brand works hard to source quality ingredients and is American based. I literally noticed a difference overnight. I truly believe this helped my toddler during some little growth moments. I noticed he was calm and able to think better. It could be just me, but I am a firm believer now. Not to mention… my toddler LOVES them. He loves the taste and the fish shape.

My son gags over these and refuses to take them, they smelled fine as descriptors they must have some what of a fishy taste bc he gags and tells me their to gross to eat.

The coating on these is thick, which results in the fishy (somewhat lemony) oil to burst out in your mouth. Then you are left with this very thick, gummy, tasteless thing in your mouth. If I can get my kid to eat these he spits out the outside.
