Great kit
For a 1/8 kit this offers a lot for the price. Good selection of bits helps you dial in what works for what task

Great little grinder
We use these in a commercial environment, and they stand up very well for the price. Nice smooth running for precision use.

Identical to MANY much cheaper copies -
Went for name recognition on this tool as I use it daily - well made, fine speed adjustment - (very important!), very controllable, comfortable and doesn't numb hand quickly. Very smooth - that being said, one of my coworkers has one identical to this CP labeled grinder, he paid half what I did. Do your homework, save some $. Still overall happy with this tool

Cheaper versus Dotco - Better performance
Bought this unit to replace a similar item offered through Dotco. The Dotco cost over $200. We use it in a shop environment all day long to deburr cut to length steel linear bearings. So far have had it about two weeks with no problems. The people in the shop that use it like it better than the Dotco more expensive unit.

Disappointed - needs some improvements
Disappointed. I expected better from Chicago Pneumatic. The speed is controlled by twisting a sleeve at the rear of the tool. When shutting it off, the end unscrews. There are no wrench flats, so the only way to tighten without damaging it is to hand tighten. It just comes loose the next time it's used. The collet could use redesign. There is one for 1/8" shanks and another for 3mm shanks. If you put a 3mm shank in the 1/8" collet, it comes loose, and a 1/8" shank will not fit in the 3mm collet. The collet should be able to accommodate the 0.007" difference in diameter. On the positive side, it runs very smoothly, and has plenty of speed and torque.

Can not complain
Great tool, no complaints at all except the cost is a bit high but I think CP is a great tool so I shelled out the cash. I have had no issues at all with heat build up or anything like that. Keep it lubed and you should be good.
