Great kit
For a 1/8 kit this offers a lot for the price. Good selection of bits helps you dial in what works for what task

Identical to MANY much cheaper copies -
Went for name recognition on this tool as I use it daily - well made, fine speed adjustment - (very important!), very controllable, comfortable and doesn't numb hand quickly. Very smooth - that being said, one of my coworkers has one identical to this CP labeled grinder, he paid half what I did. Do your homework, save some $. Still overall happy with this tool

Great little grinder
We use these in a commercial environment, and they stand up very well for the price. Nice smooth running for precision use.

Cheaper versus Dotco - Better performance
Bought this unit to replace a similar item offered through Dotco. The Dotco cost over $200. We use it in a shop environment all day long to deburr cut to length steel linear bearings. So far have had it about two weeks with no problems. The people in the shop that use it like it better than the Dotco more expensive unit.

Works well when new, did not last
I wrote this to the manufacturer: My wife uses this tool to cut openings in egg shells, which she turns into Christmas ornaments. It was working perfectly last fall. She oiled it and put it away until this week. The collet turns easily by hand , there are no air leaks, but when I try to turn it on, the air blows out the exhaust holes in the rear of the hose plug (index no. 6) and the collet does not rotate at all. I have disassembled the tool and found it to be well lubricated with zero corrosion. As you can see, we bought the tool two years ago, so we are very disappointed that it no longer works. It has had excellent care and has only been used for light duty.I received no compensation from the manufacturer. I have purchased a second unit and I am storing it in a vertical position and frequently turning the collet by hand, attempting to keep it well lubricated. Too soon to tell.
