Then the page is wonderfully illustrated with hand drawn then water colored, illustrations of caterpillars, butterflies, leaves, and so on. Each butterfly or caterpillar has the name on the top of it or underneath. The names are written in cursive. The pages have wonderful information about the butterflies. You could read this to little ones as a picture book just reading the sentence. Or you could do an entire science lessons with this book. That makes it great for ages 4-10. I also had my 12 year old use it as a beginners field guide to butterflies.
